Dined in on a sunny Thursday morning for brunch before heading back to the big city. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with staff eager to take orders. The cafe was consistently busy with people coming in and out for coffees, pies and takeaway sandwiches. Food took approx 25-30 minutes to come out.
We ordered the; 🎃 Smashed pumpkin and avocado - half serve $13 🧇 Banana caramel waffles $15 🧃 Pure OJ - freshly squeezed $8 Total: $36 for 2 people due to the half serve of the savoury breaky.
🎃The smashed pumpkin and avocado toast was delicious. The bacon was perfectly cooked and it paired quite well with the balsamic glaze. I ordered a fried egg but a poached egg came out instead - not an issue, the egg was well cooked. The pumpkin was surprisingly cold, not warm like I thought. This half serve was more than enough to feed me. I'm glad I didn't order the full serve, it would've gone to waste.
🧇The banana caramel waffles were deliciously crunchy and soaked up the caramel sauce nicely without sacrificing the crunch factor. Paired with the caramelised bananas and the creamy vanilla ice cream, my fiancé says they are the best waffles he's ever had.
🍊 the orange juice was freshly squeezed and tasted exactly like biting into a ripe and juicy orange.

Read moreThe best big breakfast from Sydney all the way to Melbourne, or perhaps the whole of Australia! Had a weekend getaway with family to visit my best friend at Katunga. Googled “Cobram Brunch” and Ambience Bakery Cafe popped up. My friend told me despite living close by, he’s never had brunch at any of the local cafes. We had a good laugh. The young cashier was very humble, he cleaned the wet benches and tables throughly, and took our orders with patience. Service was friendly and speedy, but best of all is Ambience’s breakfast! The variety of tastes surprised us all, and I am struggling with words to describe the scrumptiousness of their pancakes and big breaky. Farm eggs, delicious baguette, sizzling mushrooms, fresh spinach, freshly made house jams and well made pancakes, complimented with surprisingly tasty mugs of coffee and hearty smiles, the whole experience was just sheer enjoyment. The price was also reasonable, about half what you are expected to pay for brunch at Melbourne. Will definitely...
Read moreI only like to give praise and not criticise but this is more a suggestion… I’m sure it is not new information to the management of the beautiful bakery. Two friends and I went there and parked out the back, well done on the parking ,tons of room, but two of us have difficulty walking. and we’re more than surprised that there was not a back door to go into the cafe. So we slowly walked out of the car park ,along the side across the front into the premises holding each other so it’s not to slip on the tiny pebbles from the garden that were all over the footpath. I would love to think that these things are both in hand so that we can bring others and our family for an outing there… I have been a customer since the Bakery opened and loved it but could...
