Dalby store is an embarrassment to your franchise. 1st visit was fine but very slow. 2nd visit store floor was filthy and sticky. 3rd visit I waited 19 mins in Drve thru for a coffee. 4th visit My Son wanted HJ's for lunch we used the app last Friday to order, which we couldn't complete as the app said Whoppers were not available. He then went in store to order and touch screens said the same for all burgers, no staff assistance to be had. So he came out and we went to McDonalds. We tried again today. He ordered on the app and chose pick up from drive through. We got to drive through and he had not received the 4 digit code that they insisted we would have got. Mind you in store they use your initials, but on the app you have to get a number. The $44.65 immidiately came out of his bank account but they had no order. The app then had no record of the order. 10 minutes in the drive thru trying to sort it. No sorry go park and come inside and ask for a Manager. We see a manager with a badge with her Name and 'Growth Mindset Partner' on it. Sorry can't help you if you don't have the 4 digit code sorry nothing I can do. Not once looking around or even looking at a computer to see if any record. I explained we had issues last Friday. Still I was calm and just looking to buy lunch Yeah sorry nothing we can do, the money will go back into your account. I said alright we will order and pay for them now then. No you can't because then you won't get the refund you are owed. Not one single solution offered, not even a suggestion of a work around to satisfy an upset customer. Ten minutes into that time the app announced our food was ready - could see that it wasn't so kept waiting... Whilst waiting we were shocked to witness arguing between the front staff and the assembly/cooking staff. All the while still not getting to our order, once they did the arguing got worse because we had removed pickles from two burgers and added bacon to another... one staff member (guessing she was a manager/supervisor) proceeded to click at, point at and speak to one of the assembly staff like a dog. Read more3 coffees took just over 20 minutes and the order was incorrect. Staff member making coffee had no other coffee orders at the time and continued to apologise as she kept moving away to assist other areas. If you can’t read the order and get it correct you need to hand over to someone who can. Manager on duty seemed to have little interest in what was happening around her and a new staff member on the only register who had to get assistance at least once for every order was just wrong and very belittling for this young girl.
