There was no response at the speaker box. We waited for a fair while. Then we drove to the window. There was a guy there with a very bitter look on his face. We joked with him about the man in the speaker not working. He didn’t find that funny. He was bitter before we got there. We wanted to order the go bucket and frozen. He explained very nonchalantly that we need to order online. Now this wasn’t done with an ‘I’m sorry ladies that only available online’ it was done with a wave of a flyer and bland face stating ‘that’s online only you’ll have to go out and order it !’ I was taken aback by this. When the driver said to him ‘are you not too happy today’ and he said ‘ not when people make jokes’ and then the passenger mentioned that we are trying to cheer her up today as she has lost her house in the bushfires and we are just being happy. He said ‘so does that mean you have to criticise my mood because you lost ya house and does that mean I have to see sorry for you now’ Now I was taken aback at the first comment but this one really got me. He didn’t offer us a receipt. We bought 3 wraps. He walks off after we asked to see the manager and he said he ‘ya lookin at him!’ and when we stated that we weee in shock at his behaviour he asked did we want a refund. The three of us were shocked. So another lady finished the order. We were in disbelief that this rude individual was so offensive and then claimed that he was the manager. As it turns out he is the manager. I am disappointed that this person on is in a leadership Role when he is setting that sort of example to the other staff. We didn’t want sympathy because our friend had lost everything in the fires. We just wanted a good lunch option and now our afternoon has been completely tarnished by this awful excuse for a manager. Improvements more spice in the hot and spicey chicken and zinger. Staff always seem to try there best and are helpful. I suggest dine in or take away at this restaurant due to the drive thru can only goes so far and it out the driveway. This KFC has always been happy to fix mistakes if you ask. So don't winge about it in the reviews just get out of the car and ask. True they shouldn't but making mistakes everyone human. Ordered our meal at 8.25pm. 10 piece original pack with fries and potato and gravy. They said it would be 10 minutes to cook more chicken! After 15 minutes they offered us hot and spicy, we declined, after another 10 minutes they offered chicken tenders, we declined. There was 5 staff on and they were serving the drive through with original chicken, we were hungry and getting agitated I enquired again about our meal to be told it will be another 20 minutes this time by a store manager who obviously had no clue !
