The food at lums is amazing and the staff really care about making your dining experience memorable Amanda and the wait staff are attentive without standing over you during your meal. For drinks I definitely recommend the pink gin it is sweet and fruity. When it comes to the food wow it's always so hard to choose for entrees the dumplings and mixed entree are my favourites. the Hong Kong fried rice is to die for as is the Szechuan beef, king prawn with garlic sauce, sweet and sour pork, chicken omlette just to name a few with so many delicious meals to choose from it's always hard to decide what's for dinner. Very friendly staff and a nice clean restaurant.

The food was very bland in my opinion though, not one piece of meat had any browning from being in a pan, it’s as if everything was microwaved.

1.) Scallops with garlic sauce: The sauce watery and flavourless on top of steamed scallops.

2.) Mongolian beef: Same thing again watery and flavourless sauce/gravy.

3.) Special fried rice: Bland, no soy sauce, shrimp still had their tract intact.

4.) Singapore noodles were okay, a bit bland, could have used a little more curry powder.

The 5 star rating is definitely deserved for the wonderful service and the clean and lovely environment but unfortunately our meals were a disappointment. The sweet and sour pork was gingery (that was a surprise), the chicken chow mein had limited flavour but was similar to just a chicken stock flavour and the big disappointment was the special fried rice - no flavour.
