Celestino Cafe Bar Torrefazione — Restaurant in District of Canberra Central

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming cafe in Fyshwick, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The menu was a delightful surprise, offering a wide range of options to cater to various tastes and dietary preferences. I opted for their signature coffee, and it was truly exceptional. The baristas here clearly know their craft, and the coffee was rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed.

What sets this cafe apart, though, is the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to accommodate special requests and make recommendations. The attention to detail and genuine passion for what they do truly shone through.

The food was outstanding. I tried their leg ham Benedict, and it was not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious. Fresh ingredients, creative flavors, and generous portions made the dining experience memorable.

So others had recommended Celestino's to me so I decided to see what all the hype was about.

Good range of pizza, pasta, risottos and other meals both on the menu and on the blackboard.

We chose to share a pizza from the board between two and each had a drink. My companion had a coffee (very nice) and I had sparkling water. Two glasses with ice were provided without being asked which was good service

Pizza was bought to the table 10-15 mins after ordering. Looked and tasted delicious and the crust was delightfully thin and crispy.

We finished up with sharing a pecan pie from their cakes cabinet that was also delightfully moist and tasty.

The food was terrible 3 prawns in the gamberi pasta, overpowering quantity of capers in the next one and the Caesar salad consisted of heaps of shredded iceberg lettuce grated parmesan a squirt of aoli and a little bit of smoked salmon. Mind you I asked for no bacon, but where were the croutons, egg, shaved parmesan and chunks of cos lettuce. Won't be going there again. No wonder there were only 2 others there at...
