We’re two Spaniards, and although pies aren’t part of our traditional cuisine, we’ve travelled extensively and tried many around the world — but none as good as this one. We bought two beef, cheese, and jalapeño pies: one for now and one for later… but we ended up eating both on the spot! They’re generously filled with meat and packed with incredible flavour. The pastry is perfectly flaky and golden — truly unbeatable. We’re not sure if there are other pies here that could top this one, but honestly, it feels impossible. We’ve tried pies in countries like the UK and New Zealand, but nothing has ever come close to this. Thank you for creating such an outstanding product!

Have you ever tried a home made meat pie baked in a wood fired oven? You just don’t know what you’re missing The filling, mmmm so nice and plentiful and the pastry nicely baked and crispy We visited the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre and on the way back, I know this small country towns to have hidden jewels like The Dorrigo Woodfired Bakery So in we go and my mouth was watering that pie I can have it for lunch dinner and in between But wait there’s more…. The cakes, OMG The wood-fired oven makes a lot of deference IT’S REALY WORTH A VISIT

Stopped into the Dorrigo wood fired bakery to get some bread. We also grab a garlic and cheese cob loaf. This bakery has some amazing things, and their pies looked that yummy. We decided to go and get some cash out and went back and got pies, sausage rolls, and pasites for the tribe 😋 This bakery is definitely worth a visit. The staff were super friendly and bubbly. And the food speaks for itself. The garlic and cheese cob was absolutely delicious.

We, Tommo and Gordon, wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Lovely Bakery in Dorrigo. The experience we had at your bakery was nothing short of amazing.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm of the place and made us feel right at home.

But what truly stole the show were the mouthwatering pastries and baked goods. The freshness and variety of your offerings were outstanding. We couldn't resist trying several items, and each one surpassed our expectations. The pies, in particular, were a highlight!

Seeing one of your staff members wearing a Sharks jersey was a fun and welcoming touch. Tommo and I appreciate the wonderful hospitality we received throughout our visit. Your team's attention to detail made our experience truly memorable.

As we made the journey all the way from Armidale, Lovely Bakery was a delightful find and one we won't forget. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you again to the entire team for providing us with such a...
