Carl's Jr. Dubbo — Restaurant in Dubbo

have been 2 times since opening the first was drive thru waited 30 minutes got home and they had forgotten half our order spent about and hour trying to get a hold of them by calling the restaurant ended up getting through and they took my name and said that i could come and collect the rest at any time. a few days later we went to dine in and there was an employee walking around in tears serving people and an empty drink fridge that was blocking the path of many young employees trying to do the hob they haven’t been properly trained for and they got our order wrong again instead of waffle fries which are more expensive they gave us onion rings . i also witnessed an employee go into the bathroom wearing gloves and come out wearing gloves also his hair net pointed to the fact that he works in the kitchen. we also tried to drive thru one morning after seeing the signs that say we serve breakfast and they were closed. i say turn it into a taco bell and do it right also they need to train there...

Last night I decided to try carls jr and I got a western bacon cheeseburger and the burger itself was a bit messy but it’s okay because the atmosphere made me feel so comfortable

The Burger - the onion rings are a really odd texture for the burger and it was put together sloppily. The cheese was slipping off the side but the taste was great

The Restaurant - As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a worker with a Pride pin that says something along the lines of “You can be yourself with me” and I felt so safe and included! Which I usually don’t feel at other restaurants. So thank you Jayce! The other front worker named April was also very kind

I stayed for another hour in the restaurant because the vibe made me very comfortable. I might come back and set up my laptop...

Waited and waited in queue. Man in front of me had his order taken then girl behind counter disappeared. Watched two males very slowly making burgers in the kitchen. They completed two burgers that then just sat there under the warmer. No one picked them up and gave them to the waiting customers.

Eventually worked out that girl had gone to take a drive through order. I couldn’t see her but I couldn’t imagine where else she had gone.

After another 5 minutes of standing there with no service I walked out.

That poor girl was doing the job of at least 2 people, possibly 3 and was no doubt only getting paid one wage.
