First and last time customer.
Arrived today - 4th August @ 07:00am. I left my dog in the car while I went and ordered my meal and the front counter.
I asked the male at the counter âare you dog friendlyâ
He said âno, not unless itâs a service dogâ
I ordered my chilli lime scrambled eggs, flat white and some food for my dog. Meal came to $42 - I gave him $50 and said keep the change.
I advised him that I would be outside and if the coffee could come at the same time as the meals (as I was taking away due to no dogs allowed - didnât say that part to him)
I then got my dog out of the car - staying well away from the restaurant I took him for a walk up the car park.
As we started our walk a car pulled up with 2 dogs. When I got back to my car I noticed the 2 dogs were sitting in the outside areas with their owners.
I put my dog back in the car and went inside.
I saw the owner and asked why my dog was not allowed - she looked at me and said âwe are pet friendlyâ
I looked at the person at the counter and he said âyou said - sitting insideâ. Now this is what peeved me off - at no stage did I say I wanted to sit I side with my dog. Instead of apologising and saying âI thoughtâ he lied to his manager.
I was not offered an opportunity to eat outside where the other diners were with their dogs so I went back outside next to my car to wait for my meal.
At no stage did I raise my voice, argue or make a scene I simply went and waited by my car.
I was at the rubbish bin when the man who had 2 dogs came up to me and said âsorry did we ruin your breakfastâ.
I looked at him shocked and said âno you didnât do anything wrong - whyâ
His reply was âI didnât even ask if they were dog friendly - we just sat downâ
I was shocked as I hadnât said anything to them, I hadnât cause a scene in the shop and I didnât stomp and carry on like a child - I can only assume one of your staff said something to him.
Tears welled in my eyes at this stage as to add insult to injury - I didnât do anything wrong and your staff had taken it upon yourself to talk about me to customers
My meal came out to my car - and the male handed me a card for a free coffee ânext timeâ and a milk drink for my dog. Thanks but no thanks!
Further to insult was the meal a) for my dog - undercooked pork fat - instead of pork belly - it was all fat, burnt bacon and dried scrambled egg. I paid $15 for scrambled egg, bacon and pork belly - It went in the bin
By the time I got home my chilli scrambled eggs leaked through the takeaway container, toast was cold and the scrambled eggs were cold.
Wonât be back - service was terrible, my dogs meal was inedible even for a dog and my scrambled eggs and toast were also cold. Wedge of lime and chilli was edible - thanks but no thanks!
$50 down the drain for terrible service and...

Hi guys,
I loved supporting small businesses and thatâs why l chose to have breakfast at Brewed this morning. But today I just had the worst customer experience any person can get at a restaurant.
We arrived at the restaurant and they were having issues with they eftpos machine. We paid for our food but their systems was not showing the transactions that had been processed. We showed the manager the amount that was deducted from our account on our bank statement. The manager insisted that we needed to pay again for the food to be released to our table. So we tried paying for the second time and the money came out of our account and l showed the manager our bank statement again but still the transaction was not reflecting on their eftpos machine.
The manager then asked us to try paying for the 3rd time. This time we said No because we were going to be $150 out of pocket without receiving our breakfast our having the other amounts put back into our account.
The two times that we paid, the managerâs response was, l canât give you the product if you havenât paid. I offered to leave my details for them to contact me and pay over the phone if the amounts didnât get into their account but she didnât want to give us that option.
After 30 mins of waiting, my pregnant wife was now starving and We had to leave and drive towards Macdonalds. At this stage the restaurant owes us $104 for breakfast for 2 that was not served.
The manager made us feel like we were trying to scam the restaurant yet it was their payment system that was not work properly. A few other customers who got served before us also had the same issue when they tried to pay the bill.
After 2.5 hours the restaurant refunded both the payments that we made into our account. At least Iâm happy the restaurant gave us...
Read moreI recently visited BREWED on Cuthbert and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The decor is modern yet cozy, and the ambiance is perfect for both catching up with friends or getting some work done.
The coffee is truly top-notch. I ordered a latte, and it was perfectly crafted with a rich, smooth flavor and just the right amount of foam. The baristas are clearly passionate about their craft and it shows in every cup. They were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations based on my preferences.
The food at BREWED is equally impressive. I tried the avocado toast and it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu has a great variety of options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs.
What really sets BREWED apart is the attention to detail and the commitment to quality. Everything from the coffee beans to the pastries is carefully selected and prepared. The service is exceptional, with staff going out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience.
Overall, BREWED on Cuthbert is a gem of a coffee shop. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a great place to relax, this is the spot to be. I can't recommend it...
