Brewlicious — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

We ordered a coffee and hot chocolate along with 2 bacon and egg rolls to go. They weren’t busy, they had 1 large table of customers and 2 tables of 2. We waited 15/20 minutes for our drinks not too bad, when I asked where our rolls were I was told they were coming. A gentleman that was obviously a regular walked in long after us got his drink order and food almost immediately, when I saw this I walked in and again asked where our rolls were, the young girl who looked about 15 went and checked again and said there is going to be a wait (we’d already waited more than 20 minutes) when prompted to ask how much longer she informed me another 15 minutes. Keep in mind these were just 2 bacon and egg rolls. I mean they should have bacon ready to go and then it takes 3 mins to cook an egg. I asked for a refund and left really angry as I was so hungry. The drinks were great but don’t order food there. They need to reduce staff (there were 4 teenagers standing around doing nothing) and concentrate on their food delivery. The busy table even complained their orders were incorrect. The cafe is down the road from my house, they serve the yummiest food and the portion size is truly value for money! The staff are so friendly and accommodating of little children as well. My family and I love to support local businesses and Brewlicious is definately one of them. They have New Zealand treats in the cafe which takes me down memory lane and can't leave without a sweet treat. I've never been disappointed with the food, it is always fresh and full of flavour. Lovely little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating..A warm welcome from behind counter and the cosy decor makes you feel right at home..I ordered a Immune booster juice with Haloumi Stack and lemon meringue pie..As usual my eyes were bigger than my belly and I walked out needing a siesta...Haloumi stack was delicious and lemon meringue was good though I thought the pastry was a bit blonde but the lemon was great .Some lemon meringue pies just don't taste like lemon!!
