Shakermaker Coffee Drive Thru — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I'm still trying to try all the banh mi rolls on the Gold Coast and this would definitely be up in the top 10 places for quality, service, price and taste. It's probably a hidden gem as I'd never really thought about stopping here before because it appears to be a drive thru coffee shop, but was pleasantly surprised by the food served today. I ordered 2 banh mi rolls and made it combo's with spring rolls and drinks- pork and chicken- definitely recommend the pork 👌 they also have cookies, frappes, shakes, smoothies, bagels 🥯 😋. The dining room area could do with a bit of a renovation or atleast tidied up- very bland and messy in some areas, air conditioning blasting cold air directly at you- not required. I would definitely go back to try some of the other options of banh mi rolls. My favorite local coffee stop. Quality coffee beans show up in the smoothness of the coffee. Great cappuccinos, flat whites and lattes! The breakfast rolls and bagels are quite tasty and the staff is always cheery. Lots of people seem to love the drive through too. Looking forward to visiting their adjacent Vietnamese restaurant expansion. Excellent food and service makes the experience great!

Update: The great Banh Mi and Noodle salads are no longer a secret. They are very good and not just for lunch. Banh Mi breakfast happens almost every time during my morning coffee!

Second time drove thru for a hot chocolate! Second time the temperature was very wrong, not even warm enough for the marshmallows to slowly melt through. The chocolate powder they use isn’t the greatest tasting either. The service at the first ordering station was very rude and no price was given, so what are we supposed to guess how much cash to have ready! Yes cash because cash is king but a very underrated commodity in this day and age! Less fees and charges for both customer and merchant.
