Ash Quality Seafood Cafe — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

I ordered the Fishermans Basket from here via UberEats and was disappointed. I read the reviews from here prior to ordering since I'm usually skeptical about trying new places. I was disappointed by my order as it became a challenge to actually eat the food. The chips were the only decent part of the meal, but the batter used on the fish, prawn cutlet and the scallop was horrible. It tasted like oil and fat unable to deliver the actual taste of the seafood. When I bit into the prawn cutlet, all this juice came out but it wasn't the juice from the prawn. But rather the oil it was fryed in. I was disappointed by my order overall, so maybe this isn't the best place to get Uber from if you just want...

The food was good, the service left a lot to be desired the staff member working register taking the order got it wrong twice. We then waited 50 minutes for the meal to be prepared, only to drive home and find we were missing a family chips. When we tried calling to inform the Café of the mistake the phone went straight to message bank, I left contact details and have heard nothing back. I went in to speak to someone the next afternoon and was left disappointed by the response I received from the three staff I spoke to. I hope things will improve with time and experience.

Did not like the presentation of the food the cook had poured the baked beans over the eggs no butter on the toast missing ingredients & was charged for toast ?? Not sure why & the worst was the sausages weren’t cooked properly they were still raw & chips were over done, they also only do eggs 2 ways fried or poached. Baked beans should be served separately in a smaller bowl. PRESENTATION is a big must for me if it don’t look good/great it won’t taste good/great Not a very good start for a cafe that just opened. Asked for a refund won’t be going back there hopefully there will be more cafe or restaurants...
