I would give Curry Twist 5/5 If they could figure out what "consistancy" meant when it comes to heat. I've already tried to provide feedback and it didn't seem to melt any difference. If they acknowledge and resolve to improve then I'll adjust my review to only reflect the food quality.
The food is REALLY good. Really good. Some of the absolute best I've had...BUT...
I've ordered the same dishes many times now. And every time we've had a random heat level. Dishes: Chicken Korma & Buttered Chicken. Here's an example. 1st: Ordered Medium for both: Heat was unbareably hot, to the point where these were only half eaten. Problem was they were REALLY good. So although we were mad that we had to throw them away, we were willing to try again.
2nd: Ordered mild for both: Heat was a medium. Just like we wanted it. Awesome...' 3rd: Ordered mild for both: Heat was mild / very slight touch of heat 4th: Ordered mild for both: Heat was mild / no heat. 5th: Ordered medium for the butter chicken: Heat was medium! Perfect! 6th: Ordered medium for butter chicken again: Heat was High! Not high enough that I couldn't eat, but too high for medium. Made it borderline unenjoyable
This isn't an issue I've come across anywhere else. Usually it is: Mild = pretty much no heat. Medium - 1 spoon of chili, Hot - 2 spoons, Indian Hot - 3-4 spoons.
If you can't be consistant then it ruins good food.
Also one other note: ONLY order takeaway over the phone. Don't use any of the delivery apps. Over the phone the ETA is generally spot on. Through the App, if you arrive on time you'll be waiting...

The freshest vegetables, superb flavours, amazing coconut rice and incredible mint yoghurt to soothe your palate. Korma, Rogan and Aloo Gobi (cauliflower/ potato) that makes your tastebuds come alive. My spouse declared the Rogan Josh to be the best ever. Loads of vegetarian options and nibblies to try as well as the standard classics. Don't be afraid to ask for Medium heat, it's beautifully spicy without making you cry. And that's the secret: flavour, not fire! The chef here is the real deal, creating colours and flavours that will raise your eyebrows. This week we ordered several dishes for four people including a whole tandoori chicken with genuine deep orange colour and full flavour. Naan bread that feels and tastes beautifully fresh. (we recommend the spinach/ onion/ cheese). Our huge order for 4 people was ready in half an hour. Run by a local family who focuses on quality. So ... what are you waiting for? Parking directly in front of store or next door at the School of Arts hall. Look for the big pink/ red columns on Petrie roundabout. Beautiful friendly service too. Dine in...
