Every time I go here it's a hassle. I ask for a vegan whopper, every time I get given a plant based patty instead of the regular veggie patty, every time I clarify what I want and still it's wrong. Every time I'm parked around the corner to wait for several minutes for an order that's wrong. Every time cheese is added to my burger when it doesn't come with it and I didn't ask for it. Im getting to the point where I'm speaking to the staff like I'm speaking a foreign language to try and make it clear what I want, it shouldn't be this hard, the vegan option has been on the menu for years and only recently they've had a plant based patty. Just now I asked 3 times "is it the vegetable patty, not the fake meat one?" She says "yes, plant based", I say "no I want the vegetable patty one, just the normal vegan whopper".... she says "yes its that one, plant based", I say "the vegan vegetable patty..." she says yes. Its me feeling like im being rude by reiterating this so much to them. But then im handed a burger with fake meat, again!
I'm simply not going to eat here anymore, it's too difficult. I get a lot of the staff are young and need to learn but it gets to a point where if your food is constantly wrong and you can't get through to the staff then something isn't working from higher up. I think management needs to be trained in how to actually train others, and be the ones looked at rather then them simply blaming...

Tonight I went through drive through waited for my turn got to the box. There was no car in other lane as I waited to be served a car pulled into that lane and was served Straight away while I was still sitting there so reversed out and went into store and asked For manager. I never complained before because being a new store there is always hiccups. Manager came to see me told her what happened and instead of apologising she said but did you get Served eventually when I said no that’s why I’m in here she said well do you still want to order. I could not believe a store manager could be so rude I told her I would be phoning head office. She basically turned around and walked of the poor young girl at counter agreed that she should have Apologised and investigated what went wrong and put measures in place to solve the issues in this store. We then drove 40 mins round trip as we just wanted the food reheated and to be provided with our missing food, which HJs was at fault for not providing/checking before passing our order to UberEats delivery driver.
To cut a long story short we spoke with the young lady who’s name tag said manager, who was the rudest person I think I’ve come across. She then stated that they could not do anything because it was through a third party app and we would need to request a refund through them. We did not want a refund. We wanted the missing parts of our order. She kept repeating its procedure. It’s very clearly not procedure or policy. We read the terms and conditions on the website and not once does it state that.
Would highly recommend that management of this premise have a revisit in customer service. We’re not ones to complain especially over fast food but they created a mountain out of a mole hill. Based on previous reviews this is quite a common theme. Save your time and energy and...
