Hubby & I came for lunch today after hubby saw the great reviews. Based on what we had today the food was delicious. Hubby had a pepper pie & said it was nice. I had a steak & mushroom pie. Filling was nice, no gristle. Pastry was good too. Served a a good temp as not to burn your mouth when you bite into it. Hubby had the jelly slice. Now, he is VERY fussy about jelly slices & said it was one of the nicest he’s ever had. Jelly was not rubbery & actually tasted like raspberry. Filling was yum, as was the base. Layers were equal. From the first time I entered the bakery to order a birthday cake, to the day I picked it up, could not fault the customer service, professional, so happy to help, courteous and friendly!

I had approached another bakery about using our own Sonic cake topper and they weren’t sure they could do it but Jacobs didn’t hesitate! Nothing was a problem!!!

I'm giving a one star due to the response I got when I asked if they had gluten free anything? The response was a chocolate cake or a loaf one of the two but I had to buy the whole cake at $16 ish. Hmm no thanks. I was then told they do but you have to order in advance! Oh I'm sorry I didn't know if be stopping in here 😲 order in advance wow. Thanks but no thanks.
