I told the staff 3 times that the cannoli needs NO CHOCOLATE. Inside the cannoli (not visible) was CHOCOLATE. The complete inside was coated in CHOCOLATE. I returned the food and was told that they âTHOUGHT I MEANT THE CUSTARDâ. I said NO CHOCOLATE MEANS NO CHOCOLATE. If I had asked for gluten free it would have all been gluten free not just HALF OF THE FOOD ITEM. This severe error has the potential for a hospital admission now and 48 hours of not leaving my family member ALONE that had several mouthfuls alone EVER. They did say it was from ITALY. I mean this was very disrespectful and their demeanour was oh well. Now the owner a day later has accepted no duty of care/ownership. Stating that I did the wrong thing by not explaining the need for NO CHOCOLATE. So, if I had have gone into the private health details of my family members need for NO CHOCOLATE then they would have listened to me. I left the cafe quickly has I was short changed the correct refund and I had a neighbour watching my family member in between this professor running their uni lectures. I went back to discuss this so that they understood the importance, which I now can see was futile as it was all my fault if you read their comment back...
   Read moreMade the mistake of trusting little gossip with my breakfast order. A simple eggs Benedict. Ordered through uber to avoid a hassle and drive after a 12 hour shift. What I received was half the order missing the sauce the main 1/3 of the dish. Waited 40 minutes for my food to only have to drive out and back to correct my own order. Wasted 2 hours of my Sunday. I called before hand to make sure my meal would be ready and correct. Sadly yet again I was left standing at a counter for 10 minutes with still no food. When I finally got my bag returned to me. The chef said he left the cold meal in the bag for me. Why would I want cold poached eggs that are over 2 hours old now sitting in unsafe food temps.
I stand my my anger and disgust at the standard I was embraced with. Will gladly be reporting for a Bris safe inspection.
