My family and I thought they had closed and moved away years ago however our usual Chinese shop was closed for the festive season so I googled Chinese shop and KanTong came up. Rang and low and behold they were open and still in the same location (2 doors down). Anyway we ordered Chicken Cashew, Beef in Black bean, Mongolian Lamb, Honey Chicken, SnS Pork and jumbo spring rolls. Oh and prawn crackers. The spring rolls were disappointing. Too big, only mushy cabbage inside, plain tasting, not worth the price. However the rest of the dishes, absolutely delicious! Great food. Beef in BB was my fav. Enjoyed all of it. Thank you so much. Will definitely be ordering from Kan-Tong again. Thank you Not much left of the dishes lol

Nice atmosphere, typical night time local. However sorry guys, after moving locally a few weeks ago, and trying for first time $11.00 for combination fried rice, including 5 pieces of pre-frozen prawn, and maybe two tiny chunks of chicken.....that is not a combination for that price. Evidently end of the day for you, whilst your young casual staff member leaves for the day, i understand....but after 15 minutes wait, step it up a bit for the money. My apologies Kan-Tong, but not a great first impression. I will return, for a mains dish....see how it goes 😊

Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

Unfortunately we moved out of the area and have since tried all the Chinese places within 20 minutes of our home and our work, but haven’t found anywhere as good as here. Worth the journey for us!

Everything we have tried has been the freshest and most delicious. We get the shandy and it’s HUGE! One of these feeds an adult for dinner and lunch the next day. Individually packaged components of the meal makes all the difference so it’s not all mixed in with each other and stays fresh. Also a nice touch to have the sweet and sour sauce on the bottom to mix in to the sweet and sour pork when you are ready, so it’s not soggy. Also great that there’s a beef and chicken option.
