Rangla Punjab Indian Restaurant - Bribie Island — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

On the 30th may we brought indian from Rangla Punjab on Bribie Island ... we spent a bit of money as brought 4 curries, 5 garlic nans, other indian entrees and a mango drink (that was off). When we got home we noticed one of the curries was missing. We called them up to let them know but were not going to drive all the way back to the island to pick it up ... the curry and rice were sitting on their bench and the young girl had just forgotten to put it in the bag so we were told next time we ordered just to remind them of this .... tonight Dave called up and the owner (not the poor young girl who Dave was talking to) has refused to honour what was their mistake!!!! And not only that he refused to talk to Dave and the poor girl sounded scared of him!!!!! I have only ever brought my indian from this restaurant .... and I love my indian but will no longer be supporting this business!!!!!!! And nor will I continue to recommend them to others...

While the food quality, we found to be excellent, there are some system and procedure improvements from which this business would benefit:

Your Google listing shows that you deliver. So, don't say, "We don't deliver." when a customer orders.

If menu choices are unavailable, they should not be allowed to be ordered online.

If ordered items are unavailable, TELL the customer on collection. Don't wait until they get home and have to call and ask why.

Ensure that ALL available items are in the order. I had to drive back to pick up the vindaloo because it was not supplied.

You got three stars for the food quality and the fact that you added a free naan, rice and poppadom. If it were not for the issues listed, you would have had a five...

Sorry to say this as i love indian food but the food that i bought for 12 people over $200 order was not upto acceptable standards in any way . Just giving 1 star as i cant give less than this . Butter chicken was runny sauce with maybe 5 pieces of chicken in each container . Taste of sauce " yuck ". Just cream . I ordered 2 full chicken tandoori . What i got is attached on photo . Chicken thigh fillets pieces boiled and tossed with onion . OMG really !!
