Customers AREN’T an inconvenience girls… Clearly none of the 4 girls masquerading as staff at Subway have any pride in their work. Clearly they’re all miserable in their jobs. Their apathy was palpable, the service the worst I’ve ever experienced. The staff need to be reminded that customers aren’t an inconvenience, they are the core of their employment, they pay their salaries. Very poor service, the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. Not listening to my order so I had to repeat myself a number of times: slapping the food on the bread with no care, making me wait while they chatted amongst themselves… And the final disinterested girl cutting my sub with the same uncleaned knife with which she’d just cut the previous customers exotic footlong was the final insult in what was a terrible experience. Unfortunately this restaurant couldn’t achieve a five star rating off of me due to the unfriendly nature of the young girl that served me. The workers seemed as if they did not want to be there, a smile was not present and that is a thing I find is key in a restaurant setting. Happy with the jovial service, however when I stated that the meat was a bit light (six pieces of steak in total) I was told that it was their 'standard serve size'. I have been to many Subway restaurants, and I order the same thing every time (I like it) and every time their 'standard serve size' was almost twice as much. So... make a customer happy, put a few extra bits of meat on the order. Don't tell me it'll cost extra to do what every other Subway does for free.
