Earlier today, we decided to grab a bite at the Subway located near Maccas. From the outside, the place looked really clean and well-maintained, which gave us a good first impression.
Unfortunately, thatâs where the positives ended.
The service was very poor. The young brunette tallish boy around 20 years old i think didnât seem very interested in helping us out or even acknowledging our polite requests. He barely communicated unless giving us snarky comments and being very unprofessional (i even saw him wipe his nose) and using words like âwhatâ in a rude tone, which made the ordering process feel awkward and uncomfortable.
Then came the food. We were pretty disappointedâthe sandwich was falling apart almost immediately after we picked it up. It wasnât wrapped properly, and he didnât cut it open correctly either, and the ingredients were just kind of thrown in, not evenly spread or layered. We had to eat it really carefully just to keep everything from spilling out.
Overall, we do not like the guy who served us and hope he feels better if he was just having a...
Read moreWe have just visited the Gympie Highway Subway store. The service from the little blonde haired girl aka the rudest person we have ever met served us she was slamming every she put her hands on. We order online to pick up 15 minutes later. When we arrived on time. She greeted us at the counter with âare you online order then youâll be waiting a long timeâ angrily. She then didnât tell us they had no meatballs until 15 minutes after we arrived. She then didnât start our order she went and started talking crap to her colleague. Then she started our order another 5 minutes later. Her handling of our food was poor she was throwing the food on, she did not over the whole sub with salads. Once our order was finished 25 minutes later she slammed the cup down and angrily said âHERE BYEâ Extremely disappointing service. I think subway needs to teach their staff how to...
Read moreTonight I went into Subway and ordered 2 Italian BMTâs and 1 vegetarian. The server started making the Italian BMTâs by putting on the meat with gloves on. He then got another foot long out of the storage to start the vegetarian one but didnât change his gloves. I called him up on this and he said oh sorry and left it on the bench then kept making the Italian BMTâs. Another server came out and the guy said to his colleague âbefore you tend to the next customer since you have fresh gloves on can you make this ladyâs vegetarian subâ. She agreed but then proceeded to use the bun he left on the bench. My friend is vegetarian, thatâs cross contamination! She was going to keep on going but I asked her to redo it again. I had no qualms about the other 2 subs but when we are talking vegetarian I feel like that...
