Flinderz Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Hillarys

1st time visitor!! Very disappointed. My Uncle and Aunt arrived 1st and they had already ordered drinks. (No issues with that order although they waited quite a while for coffee!) When we arrived the waitress came over asking if we want to order, as we just arrived we said pls give us 2minutes & we will be ready to order.

She never returned and after about 15-20 minutes of sitting there I went to ask her at the front if she could take our order please! We all placed our orders for coffee and breakfast. Now we wait.. we had not received our coffees in 20-25 min, no food till about 40-45 minutes later, eventually getting the attention of another waitress & asked if they can see what’s going on! She came back twice to ask what our orders were as they have not even put it through! We reordered again (told please give us 10min for everything.) and was told we will get free coffees which we did. The food came and my order was incorrect, said nothing as by this time we had just had enough! So for coffee and breakfast, the wait and service was shocking! Definitely not returning won’t recommend it as they can’t seem to operate under pressure at all! Stay away!...

A very nice lady at the counter who served me and the hot chocolate was good. However I was told there was an almond and dark chocolate muffin by said lady, which is what I asked for, but I was given a banana muffin and by the time I realised I had already driven off. It was still nice but now what I wanted. Man with a man-bun is the one who got and heated up the muffin so I assume his mistake. He has some of, if not the worst customer service I’ve seen. Not only did he get me the wrong order but he also made no attempt to talk to me, just threw the muffin down in the bench and as I wasn’t sure it was mine I was going to ask but he had already turned away and did not seem to care at all. The man making the drinks told me it was mine, he was nice and makes an excellent hot chocolate, but not sure I would go back after such...

Very disappointing experience. We won’t be coming back. No communication between staff members. One tells us to sit somewhere. The next minute we are asked to move somewhere else because there is a big group booking. My partner had to repeat his order 3 times (just ordered coffees). 20 mins later still no coffees. When asked to check on our coffee orders, the reply “sure but we are very busy”. Looked around but people were either busy eating already or tables were empty. 2 mins later, the girl comes around to tell us that the order hadn’t gone through. Seriously?? We left and asked for a refund. To be honest the place was dirty and the tables sticky. Rubbish all over the floor. Great to have young staff but please train them properly with more professionalism...
