Well, let me put it this way—today’s experience was really awful. It pretty much ruined my date with my friend. We came here for breakfast today, ordered some food and coffee, and were having a nice chat. Things were going well until I had about half of my sandwich left. A waitress walked by and asked if I wanted to pack it to go. I told her I wanted to keep it stayed. Then, about 15 minutes later, the same waitress suddenly showed up at our table with a child. Without saying a single word to us, she told the child, “You can take these coffee cups away.” My friend and I were totally confused—we had no idea what was happening. In the end, they took away my leftover sandwich, just as she apparently wanted. With nothing left on the table except two menus, out of nowhere, another waitress rushed over from the side, snatched the menus off our table in one swift motion—whoosh—and honestly, it startled me. It was so sudden and aggressive, I thought someone was trying to grab my phone off the table! After that, we kept getting dirty looks and were stared at very unfriendly. I can tell you two are the owners—your age gives it away. The younger servers all seemed polite and normal, unlike both of you. There were still plenty of empty seats around us, so it’s not like we were hogging a table. And we actually paid—we even considered ordering another coffee or tea. But with all these actions, isn’t it obvious you were trying to rush us out? Honestly, if you had just told me directly that it might get busy later and there could be customers waiting, I would’ve understood and left. After all, you’re running a business. But giving us attitude and making moves without a word—what was that about? I saw a one-star review that said, “They’re unkind to customers,” and today we really got to experience that one-star...

On a crisp, clear, blue-skied winter day, I visited for a midweek lunch, and the inviting warmth of the fire welcomed me inside the café. Passing through the cafe, there was an interesting selection of homewares, candles, clothes and hats for sale. I opted for a seat in the sheltered back garden, surrounded by living bamboo walls, with starlings flitting among the branches, and a delightful mix of bench seating and snug chairs. It had a great, relaxed feel, just like being on holiday. The overhead heating enveloped me in warmth. I decided on the lamb served with hummus and yogurt, which was absolutely delicious! Boho is a great cafe and equal to the best we've eaten at. Coffee is consistently excellent and the food delicious. Staff are numerous, friendly and efficient. If you're lucky enough to get a bread and butter pudding you'll be in for a treat. The bohemian layout of the courtyard creates a great atmosphere which is another reason why it's often hard to get a table at peak periods. However , you can book and because there are time limits it doesn't take long to get a table. If you live in the area you probably already know it and if you're a visitor it's definitely worth going to.
