Firstly, I am quite shocked at the high rating of this place. The food here is very average and maybe even under average.

Me and my partner ordered two different ramen, one Tonkotsu ramen and a Spicy Tan Tan ramen. We had also order some sides such as the chicken karage, takoyaki and the Gyoza that came with the ramen.

My partner had a sip of the broth and instantly told me to try. The broth tasted like water, very bland and not Spicy. I had my Tonkotsu and tried the broth as well, tasted very bland as well.

The sides are definitely much more tasteful than the Ramen. Takoyaki was definitely my favorite, flavourful and chewy. Karage chicken were quite big and came with 4 big piece which usually comes in smaller pieces for bite size. The gyoza was very average, did not have any special taste to it. Felt like I could make that with the store bought gyozas.

The atmosphere was definitely nice, very chill and quiet. The staffs were all very friendly and nice.

Overall, if you're going for a drink and snack, this would be the place but if you're looking for a filling meal, this place would not...

Wow!! Really loved this place, from the restaurant decor and furniture, to the music, friendly staff and great service, and the FOOD?!! It was absolutely delicious and super fresh, such clean flavours! Myself and my partner ordered miso soup, the skewered mushrooms (MUST TRY!!), salmon sushimi, panko pink ling fish and the green bean salad with sides of rice. We also ordered a delicious and perfectly balanced spicy garlic sauce and that was made fresh in house. Every other place ive been to uses store bought sauces. The sushimi came out looking like artwork, it so beautifully presented. The panko pink ling was honestly the BEST fish I've ever had! It came out succulent and moist, seasoned well and was nice and crunchy from the crumb, but not oily whatsoever. The serving size is very generous as well. The green bean salad was freshing and tasty and I will mention again how amazing the mushroom skewers were, really yummy! This is now our new favourite restaurant, hands down. Please just hurry up and come and eat their food, try...

Bad service. The staff asked us to order it via the QR code, and we told her we did that. After 20 minutes, she started serving other tables who came in later than us, I asked her. She then said the QR code system wasn’t working. So, what’s the point of the system? She didn’t even serve us with water and basic respect. Throw the noodles and bowls on the tables. The staff was racist and only chose certain groups to serve. We can observe the other group coming in with similar attitudes.

Ironically, the restaurant is owned by a Chinese.

Won’t recommend visiting. Average food as well. Don’t even deserve a star for the service.

Given a free small side as the apologies having said so. The service was horrible.

I don't think there's any misunderstanding, which is clearly not the case.

Not giving future comments on the food. I saw others comment on their food, and I agree that the broth...

Stop reading these reviews and just book a table. Started with Sashmi Tuna, Avocado & Noriwasabi Sauce; a perfect example of everything about this restaurant. Expertly balanced flavours, ideal serving size, superb presentation and quality ingredients. Pako Chan describe themselves as a Fish and Chippery with a Japanese twist. Their Creamy Tasmanian Scallops & Nori-filled Spring Rolls are a perfect mix of traditional sea food with Japanese style and flavour. None of the eight dishes I tried were anything but excellent. Attentive and knowledgeable staff who could suggest dishes to help round out the meal. A broad, but concentrated drinks menu and an equally matched dessert selection. A new but perfect establishment.

Have a quick pass by after lunch as we are starving for dessert. The place is well decoration with Japanese concept, adorable Panko cat. They have merch showing at front door as well - tute, bowl… 🍀 Fish and chip: can customize the coating, we chose fresh panko, it is crunchy with breadcrumbs. I love the fish most as it is feeling fresh and super hot inside. The size is quite big (as in picture with my hand). 🍀 dessert: cannot remember exactly the name, but it is fried springroll (similar like apple pie) with ice cream. Totally delish! ✨ Will come back to try on another main dish!
