Granada Tavern — Restaurant in Hobart

Arrived Sunday morning to find dining area deserted. Even though we had booked a table in front of the big screen to watch the world title fight there was no table reserved. Eventually found a very disinterested staff member in of course the gaming room. We ordered 3 coffees and asked him if he could turn on the fight. He smiled and said that they weren't going to show the fight. I said that my two mates in wheelchairs had booked and had been confirmed to them that the Granada were showing it. He called his manager who said they were not showing it. He then gave us our coffees which were not even warm. Never again. Also after posting this review I have been contacted by then thanking me for signing up to hear more from them. No thanks.

Just had a response from the Granada manager. No offer to make things right no system to train staff. So good luck punters. We recommended this pub to many others but I am not doing that anymore.

Ps getting two young men in wheelchairs to a venue is not easy. And your on site manager didn't care at all. Also no one could explain how when we had booked a table there was no table reserved for us.

Really really unprofessional staff. Really rude. We visited tonight to have dinner. They found us a table no menus no any details what time kitchen closes. We were just able to order the drinks and got our drink by the time we are about to order food menus were not available on the app. Went to the server to address the issue told her app is not working and not showing menus. At that time rude lady told me kitchen is closed. Told her no one told us before sitting that kitchen is closing at 8pm. Then she said you can order quickly i will check with kitchen. Went back to the table to confirm the order with family and went back to order manager was there and told me kitchen is closed cant take your order. I told him that lady told me we can place our order and she completely ignored me and then she said you took 15 mins. I was like seriously. So, if you guys are planing a good family togetherness never ever think to go granada. No kindness no...

Haven't been for months due to meals being a bit of a shame...went back tonight to see if it had changed...omg..meal was really dry and salad has now been coleslaw with watery mayo bland no taste for at least two months.. Wat happens if u just want a salad?? The wait staff has changed once again n not as friendly.. The toilets in the upper area smell like urinal blocks... took my breath away... And even the smoking area was untidy.. Smoke butts everywhere, not just one days worth, looked like at least 2weeks and now they have a recycle wheely bin out there...for one didn't look great n two isn't that what the staff get paid for..collect empty drinks n keep it tidy.. I can't believe how the standards have gone so down hill....It's hard to comprehend considering Mona is across the road..thought their stands would be more managed... I'll give it a couple of months once again and see if it...
