For our first night in Tassie we chose to dine here. We had a great meal, the service was outstanding and the view was looking back at Hobart through the Tasman Bridge and over all the moored yachts. Gorgeous.

Nice meals, description I'm menu was true to what arrived. Good place to be able to still have a conversation without too much noise! Beautiful views of course and convenient parking. Spoilt! 😊

Avoid this place if you are vegetarian (or have any other basic dietary requirement). They have no vegetarian main course option! The only choice you will have are the mushroom arancini (a small entree of 3 arancini balls) or a Caesar salad with no dressing or bacon (so a bowl of lettuce, essentially).

The manager, Ash I believe her name was, did not seem concerned in the slightest by the lack of a vegetarian option. Rather, she just stated that the menu was at the chef’s discretion and it was his choice to not cook anything vegetarian. Well I guess it is our choice to no longer support the Lindisfarne MYCT. Such a shame after years of having had a vegetarian option and my mother having had her wedding there.

Edited to add, in response to David's reply *

I'm pleased that you will look at adding some more variety. I wouldn't liken needing a vegetarian meal to be as difficult or unusual as perhaps as a peanut allergy or being celiac, but it certainly seems that 'vegetarians' have been chucked in the too hard basket along with some of the more difficult to cater for dietary requirements. The attitude of your staff didn't help the situation; I wasn't told 'you can call ahead next time', I was basically told that a bowl of lettuce was an adequate option and that, because the chef didn't want to cook vegetarian food, he...

Sure! Here's a light, enthusiastic five-star review for the Hobart Yacht Club:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem on the Water!

The Hobart Yacht Club is hands down one of the best spots in town—whether you're an old salt or just someone who enjoys a great view with a cold drink. The location is unbeatable, right on the waterfront with stunning views of the Derwent River and Mount Wellington. You seriously can't take a bad photo here.

The staff are friendly, the facilities are top-notch, and the whole place has this relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay all afternoon. I came for a regatta and ended up sticking around for the company and the atmosphere.

Even if you're not a sailor, it's worth checking out just to soak in the views and have a meal or drink with friends. Five stars from...

Had a day out on a friend's motor yacht and went back to the yacht club for lunch sadly they sparsely tabled lunch area was all reserved but mostly empty which was fine the only other tables that have in the place is by the bar busy Friday afternoon loud drinking yachty's quite disconcerting but we enjoyed the food the staff was fine but the eating area with just horrible it seems that out-of-towners not really welcome as we finished 12 members strolled into the eating area and were served promptly it was a shame to see the area beside the dining room that would have been a nice spot for extra visitors could not be set up as a lunch area I...
