Firstly, we came back to this cafe with high hopes. First time it was closed (last year). Staff was a woman serving front and tables, a young man cooking and the Manager (also cooking). Last two had Bluetooth earbuds in. When our food was delivered to our table I noticed it was missing the knife and extra plate I had asked for when I ordered as we intended to share. I asked the young man for a knife to cut our steak burger in half and he simply patted the milkshake container on our table which showed us a knife and fork. No words were used and he walked away. Our thickshakes were milkshakes. When I went to the counter the young woman simply said " I didn't make them" and shook her head and said "the manager made them". So I asked to speak to the manager. He offered to make replacements but really not much thicker than the original. He called out to us at our table that they were ready instead of walking across the room to give them to us. It wasn't busy. In closing, the steak was chewy and thick I couldn't eat it in my burger. I wouldn't recommend this Cafe and I certainly will not be returning. Read moreGoogle said it closes at 2 (I have updated to the correct time), however we went in at 12:55 on Saturday with our 3 young kids and the lady threw put her arms in the air and said (loudly!) “No! We close at 1! The fryers are off” then shot us a cranky look and walked away. I admit on the way out I did see a sign next to the door that said they close at 2pm on weekdays but 1pm on Saturdays. I’ve heard the food is good… it’s the attitude I didn’t love. Unfortunately I can only rate my experience.
