Honestly not worth the money. This place used to be a fantastic place to eat. Today I ordered food off their new menu and was very displeased. If I hadn't got take away, I would have sent it back to be made properly. The avocado on toast was just that, slices of avocado just sitting on just tough chewy bread. No spread out evenly, no herbs, salt or pepper, just avocado sitting on some toast. The "My Benny" I bought with grilled salmon, the salmon was completely raw, no grilling at all. This was sitting on top of the same chewy, tough bread. My Caramel late had so little caramel in it that it couldn't be tasted or even smelt in the coffee.

No reservation to make, unbelievable considering how busy this beautiful little cafe is of a morning and the staff were extremely helpful in accommodating our special milk and other dietary requests. Coffees were by far the best I've had locally. The ambiance was soft and comforting like a warm fireplace in winter, and the food definitely lived up to and beyond my expectations. We tried the local recommendations chai benny, and if you visit chai house, you should too. This is a must-try if you are looking for a nice cozy place for breakfast or brunch. Read moreWent for breakfast this morning and asked (very clearly) for 2 bacon and eggs on toast breakfasts. What we received was poached eggs on toast no bacon. I complained that my order was not correct and it turned out that the server had not taken the order correctly and as I didn't take a receipt I didn't notice. When I spoke to the person apparently in charge, it was clear that they were trying to say it was my mistake, so I demanded my money back and we did not eat the breaky.
