We visited this restaurant based on reviews and couldn't be more disappointed. The entrees were OK, satay chicken skewers and fish cakes with carrot and cabbage garnish.... which became the theme of the night. The mains were possibly the worst Thai we've had. Ever. Thai beef salad was tasteless. Served on a Cabbage leaf with grated cabbage and another big pile of shredded carrot it had no Thai zing, no lemon, coriander or chilli and very light on the beef. There was a few mint leaves in it. We had to ask for chili separately. The Crispy pork belly with Thai basil was equally light on meat but heavy on the carrot with some fried cucumber and exactly 4 thai basil leaves and a few beans, soggy broccoli, red cabbage again...but mainly carrot. Terrible hard little bits of dry pork belly that were not at all crispy but looked like they'd been cooked a few times. It was a sort of relief there was only about 8 tiny pieces in the whole dish. The Fried Barramundi with sweet and sour sauce was a palm sized piece of battered fish ( which was quite nice fish) but buried under another huge pile of carrot and a couple of bits of cucumber and pineapple. We ate the fish and meat out of the dishes as we hadn't eaten all day. We...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter 2 huge misses with exceedingly expensive and terrible meals elsewhere my partner and I were wondering if Ipswich had anything to offer. After 2 days moving we were exhausted and found the silver Thai on Google and WHAT AN INCREDIBLE MEAL. A little on the expensive side though the result was WORTH it. We know that we will be regulars and I cannot rave enough about the meal we had. The seafood laksa was second to none I'd had and even the spring rolls were hand made. If you value a good meal out. Go see these guys. They were also open on a Monday night! Thanks for a great night and meal. We will be back very soon. :) Shawn & Jill

The Thai milk tea was not iced at all and came in a very small cup. The fried squid rings had a very strong oily smell and were not hot at all, feeling like microwave food. The beef in the fried rice was very tough, and the carrots were not even cooked; parts of the fried rice were burnt. The crispy pork belly was not crispy at all and was very tough. The dish was also lukewarm, feeling like it had been microwaved. (We were refunded for this in the end.) The green curry was average. The pad thai was average. Service part: Initially, we were seated in the furthest corner, but there was only one waiter, so any requests took a long time to be...
