A deeply disappointing experience for me and my family. We visited this Indian restaurant for dinner, hoping to enjoy a nice family meal, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. The food was far from what one would expect at a proper Indian restaurant. The tandoori chicken tikka was served cold and extremely dry—clearly not fresh, more like something left over and reheated. The biryani was even more disappointing: it tasted like plain rice mixed with jeera, turmeric, and chicken curry—completely lacking the rich aroma, spices, and depth of flavour that a real biryani should have.

The overall quality and presentation of the food were poor, and it honestly felt like a mockery of authentic Indian cuisine.

This is not a place I would ever return to, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine Indian...

The worst experience, customer service is so disgusting I don’t know why they get into this business if they don’t know how to serve customers with a better attitude, it’s just really disgusting service, even witnessed a door dasher there to collect food and they refused to give the dasher the food unless the dasher pressed confirm which is really not their job to tell the dasher that which made the dasher angry and they laughed in the dashers face which once again shows such disgusting customer service YOU DO NOT OWN DOORDASH THEREFORE DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO TELL THEM HOW TO DO THEIR JOB!!!! And their food is so expensive and it’s not even worth it close down already!!!! Miss India is way better...

Needed to pick up a quick dinner on the way home & was hesitant to get food here after not liking the flavour the last time I tried (few years ago) but thought I'd give it another go.

Shouldn't have wasted my time or money.... the butter chicken was tough, gristly and had way too much tomato flavour. Both our naan breads were hardly cooked & still doughy. Neither of us finished our food (chicken madras was also gristly & chewy) which is unusual when it comes to delicious Indian food from other restaurants!

The bad reviews are a true reflection of this restaurant & it makes me wonder if the few good reviews are...

From the outside and inside, it looks ok, but this is deceiving - it’s excellent. There was a broad menu of Indian favourites, including option for vegetarians. Lamb and chicken are the picks, with many varieties of naan bread and other sides available. There was a limited selection of cold drinks and some desserts. The food is served from the hot box, but it always seems pretty fresh. The staff have always been friendly and efficient and the wait isn’t very long if there’s a few in the queue ahead of you. It’s a tasty and easy form of teal eats when you’re in the mood for something a bit different.

The curries were never great but the naan used to more than make up for that. Cooked in a tandoor oven, they were thick, fluffy and delicious. Now they're cooked on a conveyer belt through a pizza oven and they are thin, chewy and tasteless. That, and the price increases (for curries out of a jar that sit in a bain marie for hours and are barely even warm when served to you), mean we won't be back. Much better Indian options available in Ipswich.

This is our local go to for Indian Food. Sadly this is the second time in a row that the food has been very sad. Tonight they refused to take coins for payment. They didn’t give us half the order. The Lamb Korma was so runny and it had no taste. And the protein amount is just getting smaller and smaller. So so very disappointed. Won’t be going in anymore.
