Papa Tony's Pizzeria & Noodle Bar — Restaurant in Jindabyne

I wish I could vote less than 1 star. I hardly ever write reviews but if I can save one other person, family, or group of friends from wasting their money on the most atrocious pizza in the world I will be glad.

We ordered pizza for a group of 10 last week. When we went to pick it up the chef and the owner were screaming at each other, arguing about dough and throwing dishes around. Should have been our first clue!

When the pizza arrived at home everyone was super excited, having some drinks, and we all sat around and grabbed a piece. Next minute the room was silent. And not the good type of silent with lots of 'mmms' because we were enjoying our meal - people were chewing slowly, looking confused, trying to decide whether to have another bite. The pizza was almost inedible. The base was like a burnt naan bread that had been left on the bench overnight and gone hard and stale, and the whole lot was totally overcooked, even the cheese on top wasn't gooey anymore. The photos shown are completely fake - your pizza WILL NOT LOOK LIKE THIS.

We quite literally threw it onto the fire and we had to get another dinner.

Please don't waste your money here. You'll have a much more enjoyable experience putting cheese onto a piece of a cardboard box and it will be cheaper as well. Or just find a different...

Visited this restaurant with my son in August who posted a review, seen the response from the owner noting ....my son perhaps has a vested interest?......we generally do not post reviews, and the only vested interest is to warn people not to waste there time and money at this restaurant. Google reviews has an average of 1.7 stars out of 5 for this place....this is a very clear indication this is not a great experience. I really love Jindabyne, but how this place exists will confuse scientists minds for decades to come. Such a bad experience, I want to rate this place -1000000 it was that bad. I booked yet the didn't have my booking even after confirmation. I waited over an hour for my food which tasted like microwave pizza. They then gave me my pizza in takeaway boxes after I was waiting in the 'restaurant'. I'm honestly lost for words of how bad this place is. It's an experience you don't want...
