Daily Dose Coffee Karuah — Restaurant in Karuah

We stopped here for breakfast. A nice cafe who have just celebrated their first year in business. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a bacon and egg roll and poached eggs on sourdough with a weak latte and a cup of tea. Both meals were very nice and the barista have my wife extra milk to weaken the latte a bit-very thoughtful. There is both indoor and outdoor seating here and there is a good selection of beautifully presented cakes and slices on display. The cafe also has a community bookshelf. Hope this establishment is around to celebrate a few more years. We would gladly return...

I specifically ordered gluten free toast, even checked the packaging and proceeded to order. I then reconfirmed it was the gluten free toast they had made, to which I was told yes. After giving it to my son, checked again as it didn't seem like regular gluten free toast at which point, they said "oh no, sorry it was not gluten free." Which was then too late because my allergic five year old had already consumed. Ordered a large iced latte however the milk to coffee ratio was way off to the point where I feel I'm drinking solely milk - hot tip if ordering a large to get an extra coffee shot or two maybe 🤔 the pesto, tomato and cheese Toasties were nice - maybe a little pricey for what we got. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice 🙂 oh and if you're in a low car I might suggest parking on the street - bit of a ditch at the bottom 👍 otherwise a nice place to visit with plenty of options on...
