Biggest disappointment at Karumba! Shame my phone was flat inside the glove compartment in the ute, so I didn't take a picture, but anyway, we ordered two pieces of battered barramundi, two potato scallops and half a scoop of chips (as we normally do everywhere we go and it is always more than enough for the two of us) to take away. About the fish, it was, let's say, kind of one an a half portion of two very flat pieces of fish. One of the pieces was actually smaller than my hand (with fingers closed together), and I've only got small hands. Il was a bit thicker than the potato scallops and very greasy. The potato scallops were the thinnest I've ever had and were also quite soggy. About the chips, which were only small, by the way: The half scoop of chips would have been enough for one person, so as we were both very hungry, but my husband had been working a lot harder than me the whole day, so I had 10 small chips and left the rest of the chips for him (I'm not sure there were 20 left though). And I had the the small piece of fish and told him I only wanted to try the scallops, so he could have them. I'm glad we had been to the shop the day before, so I had an apple for dessert, and he had a full...

The old man, I think his name is Mat, the owner...needs an attitude adjustment. We spent $345 on shirts, breakfast, coffee, a dress, wine cooler and stubby holder. He's very curt retort and hard piercing glare at changing a wine stubby leave a lot to be desired. He should remember it's visitors like us needing sugar for our coffee from a tray outside, only to be told go inside (I'm sure it's the same sugar) is quite frankly bloody rude. Does he treat all his guests and customers like that? It pays to be pleasant and not obnoxious! I cannot reccomend spending money here. Ps... by the way health regulations I'm sure, do not condone using you bare hands to share chips...

Very dissatisfied after paying cash on a number of occasions and charged tax!!!as a separate transaction on reciept .... when asked if it's normal to charge extra in this state on cash 💸 💰 I was told no ......paid for more items and the same sneaky tactic was applied .....approach them again only to have person behind the counter turn her back on me ........watch out people !!! Cash is also being exploited !!!.....check your receipts added on as surcharge ......credit card surcharge.....its equivalent to...
