Terrace Kitchen — Restaurant in Launceston

It was my first time at terrace. Service was below average. The staff looked like they didnt care. My husband and I ordered eye fillet which was cooked to perfection and potato gratin was amazing. I ordered side of salad I thought I could have got a better one from the supermarket. We were waiting to order drinks but no one came to take our order so we had to ask for service. What a terrible experience. we had a table of six people, 3 had starters which came out ok , then we waited almost an hour and a half for our mains which were mostly eye-fillet steak, all meals arrived cold and on cold plates one was cooked as to how it was ordered the others were not , Staff seemed very disorganized and it wasn't a busy night , chips came out stone cold but at least were replaced. I cant recall having a meal out at this price level that was this poor in a long time.....

Our second time to the Terrace and 3 years apart but service and food the same, lacking the quality, menu items availability and the price point they are asking. Multiple Menu items not available including wine. I think in the nearly 40 years of dining I've very rarely experience items not available but twice here. Seeing that you can view the menu prior to booking its disappointing that your first or even second choice is unavailable. So definitely will not be returning. Wait staff seemed...
