Leeton Soldiers Club — Restaurant in Leeton

Our group booking of around 50 booked weeks in advance and specified meal choices in advance. On the night of the function there was no roast chicken at all. We had to order from 2 other options but still had to pay the full menu price instead....Orders were delivered in chaotic fashion, staff had no idea what was ordered or had been delivered...Meals not cooked correctly. We booked for 6 pm and at 8:50pm the last meals were served- including a kids meal. No apologies or explanation from any staff. I am not sure if they could organise a sausage sizzle without messing up. My roast was okay but definitely not worth waiting over 2 hours for. As we left, I noticed there was only 1 guy at the bar.... so it’s not as if they were really busy...

Great club with friendly helpful staff. Facilities are great, with a new modern look. Restaurant has great food cheaply priced Sunday $10 roast is really nice. Cafe has fresh coffee and cake, snacks and awesome pizzas and now fresh ice-cream in a cone or cup. Pokie area is quiet safe and cosy with discounts on meals drinks etc, free tea coffee and hot chocolate with bar and cafe service whilst you play. Raffles are great too, with special ones on Easter, Christmas, Mother's and Father's Day etc with many generous prizes. Monthly draws on some really cool packages, drawn at the end of each month. Had a really bad experience earlier today, honestly I’ve never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome like this before. Being yelled at and told off for not knowing the rules at the club not intended to disrespect anyone or the place. I should’ve been pulled to the side privately and be given a warning or informed. Instead I was yelled at in front of everyone around me making me feel so little and embarrassed and scared. I have emotional mental problems and anxiety and this really triggered my conditions.
