Been going here for years, the girls are very friendly and the fresh cream donuts and cakes are devine, their Bahn mi buns are bloody awesome as well, I've been reading the other comments regarding the pies. I'm sure this was a mistake because these girls aren't the type to try and rip people off, in fact they give away allot of free food if they are closing and they have left overs, rather than bin it or try and sell old food the next day. The eftpos thing is new thing there so I'm not sure what thats about but I'm glad they do at least have one even if its 50 cents which probably covers the transaction fee, I doubt they're trying to make 50 cents off people haha also allot of shift workers who buy their lunches or breakfast from the there who don't have cash would have a hell of a time trying to find a atm in the morning that didn't charge $2.50 a transaction. Finally, the "shop keeper who is indian descend" she's not the owner, shes just an employee, who is normally very friendly, her english is limited though. The bakery is owned and run by Vietnamese. Also I just read the Foo-Chongs review, as fellow business owners you people should know the ramification of giving a business a bad review, $4:80 in the area is average for a plain pie, for a steak and cheese at other businesses charge $5.20, may I recommend the bakery in Juer street Kingston who have bloody awesome pies, but careful they do range in the same price as the one you complained about. Also George Foo-CHong how much of the pie did you actually eat before trying to get a...
Read moreUpdate: (08/04/2024) - Love their mini supreme pizzas (I drop in a couple times a week and grab a couple (one on the way to work & one for lunch) plus I love their fuit salad as well (so easy and convenient).
Update (15/06/22) - My first time back since the previous incident 9 months ago. I ordered 2 banh-mi supreme pork rolls and they were really good. I've really missed my pork rolls these past few months & it seems like I'll be coming back a lot more regularly from now on.
I've adjusted the rating (Back) up from 1 to 4 stars. I don't think they're quite up to 5 star yet, but for only $7-ish it's still good value for what you get. Though to be completely honest I would pay more for a better roll like the rolls you get in Sydney & Melbourne. Update (27/10/2021) - Been getting my banh-mi rolls from here for years and recently noticed a change in the mayo (which I totally didn't mind) until today when it made me sick. I'm not sure what's happening over there with the food of late but I'm gonna be a lot more cautious...
Read moreI happen to be in the area and so happy I get to try Bread N Roll Bakery, mouth watering Vietnamese pork roll, vegetarian rolls, and taro coffee.
Pork rolls were loaded with different kinds of meat, pickles carrot, daikon radish, and fresh herbs. Their Vietnamese Mayo in the roll are to die for. The bread roll itself is so crispy and tastes just like authentic Vietnamese roll. Every bite is an explosion of flavours 😋 🤤
Vegetarian rolls are so yummy as well. My family can't stop raving about it.
I've tried a lot of Vietnamese pork rolls in inala, and this is by far the best 👌
The taro coffee is so unique, strong yet creamy with a lovely hint of taro. Every sip is full of deliciousness. I'll definitely be coming back for more.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a delicious meal 😋 Five stars from...
