Coffee in the Woods — Restaurant in Logan City

What a strange coffee venue. It's almost like they had a good idea, then stopped midway and didn't finish it? The coffee was excellent, and expensive but felt worth it as a treat. Seating is strange, like you don't belong there because it's a timber showroom. Maybe that's how they encourage a table sale? Service was slow but presentation was amazing. I can't tell if food is meant to be served, some people came in whilst I wait and were unsure too and left to go elsewhere. I think if more definition to seperate the coffee and the showroom was done, and the coffee venue area was finished properly and tidyed up, then it'd make more sense to be somewhere for a beverage. Especially against all the competition in the area now. Leave it to you if you go and try here.

A mixture of the lovely smells of both coffee and wood greeted us as we walked through the door. We ordered lattes and the upsized fruit croffle for 2. Coffee was delicious and the croffle was one of the best things we have ever eaten. It was a waffle with banana, blueberries and strawberries topped with vanilla ice cream and Norwegian brown cheese. Yes, I said Norwegian brown cheese. We weren’t sure if it would go together well, but thought why not give it a shot 🤤 the cheese is a mixture of goats and cow cheese and the tang was gooooood. A bit different with beautiful smell of timber and coffee. Latte was good - nice and smooth, enjoyed it very much. Only downside was there were only 2 fresh pastries on display to choose from at 10am in the morning. Coffee Pastry was delicious but a bit expensive for a pensioner. Staff were friendly but service seemed a bit slow considering there were not a lot of customers in the time I sat there. Only 2 or 3 other customers sitting there appearing to be doing work on computers while they had coffee. Lots of timber products like tables, timber trays and chairs which I presume were for sale.
