Wifey wanted Japanese, and it had been a while since we last visited Japanese Kitchen Mazri so it seemed a good choice. Ordered by phone before driving over, and the food was ready just as I turned up to collect. We had: * Aburi salmon don, $14.80 * Bento with rice and miso soup, $15.90 - main: teriyaki fish, sides: chicken ball + crab cream croquette, deli items: potato salad + soy sauce quail egg This was our first takeaway meal after 7 days of eating/staying at home, so it was good to break up that run and get out of the house for a short drive. In my excitement I managed to walk out of the restaurant with only one of the two bags of food. I returned to the car to discover a case of child with dripping soft serve cone, so had my back turned and was trying to deal with that when I got shocked by a knock at the window. Thankfully the staff member was on the ball and caught me before I drove off! 😅

Step into this restaurant and you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported straight to Japan! I had the pleasure of indulging in their set bento box, where the joy of customization meets culinary excellence. You get to choose your main dish and then delight in picking two varieties of two different side dishes. The flexibility to tailor your meal, coupled with the sheer deliciousness of the food, was simply outstanding. We also held a gathering for the Japanese community here, and the staff’s thoughtful attentiveness added greatly to our experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended for an authentic Japanese dining adventure!

3 meals for $50 during dinner. Ordered Pork Shogayaki, curry udon and tonkatsu. The moment you enter the restaurant, the scent the place emits teleports you to a small eatery in the alley streets of Tokyo. The interior decor is adorned with 1970-80s memorabilia like movie posters and toys from Japanese culture. Food had a home cooked food type of feel, nothing high end if that’s what you’re looking for. Family oriented restaurant. Tables were readily available at 6pm on a Thursday evening.

Our recent dining experience at Japanese Kitchen Mazri was a delightful blend of culinary excellence and warm hospitality. The extensive menu showcased a diverse range of Japanese delicacies, skillfully prepared and reasonably priced. The staff's professionalism, coupled with genuine friendliness, added a personal touch to our visit, creating an inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's thoughtfully adorned interior reflected the aesthetics of Japanese culture, contributing to a visually pleasing dining environment.

Accompanied by friends, our visit to Japanese Kitchen Mazri left a lasting impression. While the cuisine's quality and affordability were standout features, a minor consideration pertained to the use of disposable plastic for serving. Nevertheless, the overall experience was positive, with the restaurant emerging as a commendable choice for those seeking an authentic Japanese dining experience with a touch of...
