We always try to support vegetarian businesses but to the rude guy who was there on the night (I was told was the son of the owner), you’re not doing the business any favours with that attitude. I don’t normally write reviews but I thought it was necessary to provide feedback. After going through other peoples review, I realised people are having the same experience with this same guy. Not only that but the response from the owners from other posts were rude and unprofessional too. We’ve been here a few times but on the weekend and the other staff we encountered were nice and friendly. This is our first time going on a weekday, and also first interaction with bad attitude. Such a shame as the food was much nicer than previous owner, but the service completely destroys the taste.
EDIT: I didn’t know that someone else on the table wanted to drink both tea and water so I asked for ONE extra teacup. In which you rudely responded, and there were only 4 tea cups which were we used it all. Mind you we ordered chamomile tea and you gave us a completely different tea, but we didn’t even mention or complain about it. My daughter wanted a chopstick instead of the fork I initially asked but then after your response to the extra tea cup I was too afraid to even ask you. The so called unfriendly stare that you observed is actually mistaken for something that is called shock and disbelief at the service we just received after simply asking for an extra tea cup. Yes the customer is not always right, but when the customer merely just asks for an extra cup and you have that attitude, you might wana self reflect if...
Read moreSecond time I’ve been here. Service hasn’t been great both times but yesterday was really bad.
They need to staff up during busy times. One customer was helping them wipe tables and pour tea.
Four of us ordered our food, mine came out an hour later, two others came out an hour and 40 minutes later. The very first order still hadn’t come out.
We were having a business meeting so didn’t mind waiting.
When the other lady went up to ask where her food was, they were rude. They then brought her dish out 10 minutes later. The wrong dish 😑.
She took it back and they argued she had ordered that until she showed them the receipt.
Another 10 minutes and her food arrived. Totally over salted. We all had a try and it was disgusting.
As business people, we really wanted to see how they handled it. I asked the lady at the table next to me to accompany me to the counter as she could speak Chinese. They had also complained about the service.
At the counter, she translated. After much over explaining from the lady at the counter and me showing her the facts, she eventually refunded. The lady that translated and I were very diplomatic and were happy to get it resolved.
I really hope they take this review in the spirit it is meant and *get more staff in on busy days. learn to apologise and make it right without having an argument. sort the kitchen out and don’t bring over salted food and the...
Read moreRude staff - the young bloke there. I can see other customers have had the same experience with him before. You’re not going to get anywhere in life mate with that kind of attitude - take the advice.
We had an accidental double order when we had to use their online ordering system- which is not user friendly. But instead of the staff coming to us to calmly clear up the accident, or to double check our order - Which mistakes happen! He chose to lash out and blame us for double ordering - which we didn’t even know we doubled ordered. Mistakes can be easily corrected, which in this case it was.
But learning how to treat people and have better customer service is something you’ll have to learn and become better at mate.
I’m sure you’ll retaliate with something to say, after I submit this review - judging from how you responded to other customers before. But I hope you can learn from this experience, introspect and become better in how you treat...
