Since it’s renovations we have been coming to the pub and recommend it friends and took friends and family, we went Friday for lunch, to find the menu has changed and not for the better, I understand things change and Covid having a impact on limiting menu, but when between the two Of us spending nearly $100.00 for lunch & two beers and one soft drink, Asking that the barramundi that came with mash potatoes to change to chips could not be done this after I had ordered it and told to pay extra if I wanted chips is pretty poor form, but gets better the Eye fillet my husband ordered comes out rare instead of medium we ordered, then it was sent back to come Back well done , can’t the cooks cook properly a Chef would of ensure the right consistency, to be told that the top bosses don’t allow the menus to change unless you are prepared to pay money, it’s certainly not about the money for us but the principle, very very disappointing, we certainly won’t be rushing back there, by the way who has mash with fish,I could have fish and chips if I liked flathead which I don’t, very poor form Mcguires, we can go restaurant at Eagle pier with fabulous views and even better food and most definitely value for money but we trying to support our local area, not a very happy customer pick up your game

Hotel looked nice and new. Ample parking. Being Tuesday trivia night, all the tables pretty booked out. Better to make a reservation prior. House made lasagne, tasty and good portion size but dressing in salad is lacking. Similarly for lamb shank but can do with more gravy. My first visit. There is no seniors deal here. However, the staff should recommend /promote to patrons membership offers(FOC), in order to get members rate. The 2 dinner meals and 2 lemon lime bitters set me back $74. I could have saved $6-$8, by joining as members. $37/pax is a little steep compared to city offers. The trivia was very well organised where patrons can eat and join in the fun. Overall, counter staff should be taught to advise patrons on promotional items, membership signups etc

We were really shocked to be declined inside entry after 3 hours of sitting outside, spending money on dinner, dessert and drinks due to security coming on. They told us to line up around the corner for entry stamps to even use the bathroom. For a group of mature adults we were shocked by this treatment. It ruined our night and we left. Security should have looked at your existing customers and offered early entry stamps so they didn’t ruin anyone’s night. Highly unprofessional and the photo attached of the supervisor is behaving well outside his scope of work.

This was my first visit to this venue 8 PAX. Let's start at the top... Reserved a table for 8. Ended up with a table of 6, no worries! Easy for us to grab another 2 chairs. 3 of us ordered our food with 5 of us ordering behind us. Us 3 who ordered first received our meals fairly quickly. We managed to finish ours within the 30mins it took for our guests to recieve their meals. We pulled aside a waitress prior to finishing and receiving the other 5 meals, queried the arrival of said meals. She responded with "oh well enjoy yours why you wait..." Thats stellar service right there! I approached the counter with our plates to follow up on the meals yet again. The same waitress from before actively ignoring me, made eye contact multiple times. The saving grace was Gemma. She approached me asking if she could take the plates or help with anything. I could not fault a thing this lady provided to our experience. She is such a kind, lovely person and embodies hospitality in its true form. The manager being busy did come to our table once time permitted. She was very lovely and understanding of the experience provided. The manager did explain they had a new chef on the line. He saw the parmis and fired them straight away. Kudos kid! Get that food out! People neglect how easily a situation can be diffused with a simple answer. Literally all it would have taken from the rude b*h in the first interaction to simply say "give me a moment and I'll find out what's going on for you!" As someone who has worked in hospitality before I have ALL the empathy in the world for the people in this heinous industry. Some people really don't belong unfortunately. It's sad to say how one staff member can really alter what could have easily turned a good experience into a mediocre one at best. Too long didn't read? Food is good. Manager great. Gemma amazing, stand out service. Watch out for the crazy with the pony tail braid. Couldn't serve a court notice let...

I was very disappointed ,we have been coming to Logan Village pub for more than 10 years and now the new renovations of taking place we completely understand the covid restrictions but we were sat down and our table and roped off. We then waited half an hour before somebody came to even take our order had an hour all up before our meal came. When we finley ordered we were asked to pay straight away the lady asked to take our card which I thought was very unsafe as anything could have happened to our card while she behind the counter.

Due to certain dietary requirements I asked what the garden salad was like it was $8 and she assured me but you did not know and would find out we also ordered two chicken parmi's with chips and salad and 2 bottle drinks . The drinks came out with just the drinks no cups no ice no straws we had to ask for those we were not offered them when we first orded

The meals came out they were very sad looking . I could not eat all my salad because it had stuff in it that I could not eat and because it was chopped up into tiny tiny pieces it was nearly impossible to pick it all out. The chips had no flavour and the parmigiana lacked topping. My husband said they tasted like the store brought one from Woolworths that had been Frozen.

As soon as we finished they were quick to take our plates for sure.

We were very upset for the amount of money that we paid for lunch as the prices have gone up to what we received an our experience was very sad.

We are very ...

We attended in October 25-10-25. We ordered the Pork Texas cutlet. We have had this meal in various places around Australia and indeed overseas. We are in our 60's and we were looking for a nice lunch on a Saturday Afternoon. When the 2 meals arrived, we proceeded to eat. From the first bite into the Pork it was sour/off. We advised the waitress and she attended the table with apparently Steve the manager. He told us that it was the RUB and lime juice they use. We told him we knew the difference between Rub and Lime and a piece of off Pork. With that they left and did not return. They did offer us something "quick", we politely declined the offer. As we were leaving we asked for a refund of the pork meal. Steve appeared again and told us they don't do refunds just because you don't like the meal. I explained at NO stage did we say we did not LIKE the meal, but that it was off meat. He started to get agitated and I had to ask him to de-escalate as he was defending a piece of off meat and that the head chef said it must have been the Rub and Lime juice. He reluctantly gave us our money back and we left with a feeling that we had done something wrong. We dined elsewhere and will not return. Steve I managed pubs in Sydney for 10 years. I feel you require extra trains in dealing with honest senior people who only came in for a relaxing meal. Very disappointed that he did not see this from a paying customers point of view at ANY stage. Shoe on the other...
