Sandy Foot Pizza Cafe — Restaurant in Malua Bay

Have to say one of our most unpleasant experiences. We ordered our takeaway on New Years Eve Lunch which was very disappointing and expensive apart from the Battered Sav. The Battered was very nice. When we received our order I asked the staff member where the tomato sauce we ordered was, she told me that we didn’t order any sauce. The staff member, who took our order was a young male and actually asked us what type of sauce we would like, we told him Tomato. The young staff member that brought us our order then asked one of the older ladies about what to do. The older lady who was very rude then came and told me that we didn’t order any sauce because the young male didn’t write it on the order. I then after paying approximately $130.00 for fish and chips, battered savs, potato scallops & dim sims I now had to pay another $5.00 for 2 small tomato sauce. We finally got our order and left back to Tomakin where our family was waiting. When we opened our not so exciting food we found that the Battered Fish which we paid $18.00 for was missing. I then rang the Sandy Foot Takeaway and told them about the fish missing. The staff member I spoke to was very apologetic and told me to go back and get it. I wasn’t prepared to drive another 20 minutes for a piece of fish. I suggest that you guys clean up your act improve on your service and food and stop robbing people. Order 63...

I've been coming to this spot for many years now and since it changed hands a few years back it went down hill fast. The food was never top notch but as a regular visitor to malua bay i was happy to sacrifice quality for convenience and supporting local business. The current owner closes early and seems to be closed on any public holiday, so its been a while since ive ordered anything from there. The lady who runs the place doesn't seem to want to be there. She is rude, snarly and her staff are either just as mean or afraid of her. Staff seem miserable and never smile. We asked if it was OK to dine in and after a long pause she snapped saying 'as long as you dont bring in alcohol'. I've noticed this behaviour for a while now but after tonight I'm calling them out. If you want mediocre food, high prices and staff who talk down to you by all means go to sandy foot, but i sure as hell wont be. Not satisfied Time - 45min wait for fish and chips Food - Average quality small Portions Price - way to much for what you get Services - standard

Firstly, I’m happy to wait 45 minutes. If the food was quality with a good amount and great price which it was NOT .

I paid $69 for two pieces of fish, the size of my hand in 2 small boxs of chips and 4 caned drinks. then to top it of My five-year-old wanted some sauce, so I went back in and asked for some sauce and the lady proceeded to tell me it will cost two dollars Which I left my wallet at the table, expecting the lady to squirt me some for free in a little container Considering we just waited 45min and paid $70. for her to then get the sauce and squirted into a container The size of a shot glass for $2 lol is this a joke. What happened to customer service and appreciating customers coming to support your shop. for a little thing like some sauce for free. Would cost her next to nothing and would go along...
