1 in 20 Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

My 2nd visit as wanting to support local business after lockdowns, however all 4 staff wear masks under their nose or chin. Maybe their noses have mask exemptions? Apparently its too hot to wear their mask correctly in the kitchen when they make a salad. Didn't even ask for our vax status either. Wont be back Reply to owners response : Sorry David you are wrong, I appreciate your reply pointing out all the safety measures you are aiming to implement. Unfortunately you got it wrong during my visit. I don't appreciate the straight out misinformation you have in your response. To set the record straight, I did actually QR check in and waited patiently at the door to be invited in. When no one acknowledged me, after a minute, I approched your counter to ask permission to enter, and was told to take a seat at a table. I was not asked for proof of vaccination then, or when I ordered. Yes, you were all busy, and these things can happen, but thats exactly when mask safety should be well maintained, just in case any covid positive cases slip in past your checking procedures. Unfortunately all 4 staff were not wearing correctly fitting masks 'on the day I visited' No, I did not state that I felt 'at risk'. I simply asked your waitress to pop her mask over her nose while she leaned in over my face. When she refused, I was taken aback, and did say I was 'uncomfortable' that she was standing so close with no fitted mask. She told me I could move outside. She told me it was too hot for staff to wear masks. Sorry that you felt the need to make excuses for poor behaviour in your reply. It would be more comforting if you had accepted responsibility for the lack of discipline with mask safety 'on that day?'. And FYI, I have had many many ceaser salads over the years, and I've never had it served in large wedges / chunks like that...

I go here every single day and spend $20 plus getting coffee and drink for kids and sometimes partner thought was good even though prices can be quite high. But point is I buy a $10 popcorn chicken and chips box which normally I can have my 2 children share then got here today to find out they reckon they are giving away to much so they have now made it a quarter full for the same price so considering I'm here everyday I'm even more disappointed I'd now have to buy 4 which is $40 to feed kids and my partner so obviously I will not be buying it anymore. Just thought I'd let people know.

When confronted by a person with me which was not abusive just simply asked why it is basically empty its legit a handful not even its hard to show in the picture the container is way bigger than whats in it. but regardless its been to reduced then less then half the size as stated. No refund was offered or even more food according to witness which was also there as I wasn't present with the "man" just to clear that up. I have purchased this more than 10 times so I would have thought i got a $5 meal today and would have liked to have been told before I...

Coffee is great, food is great. Just super slow with the coffees which holds everything up. Bit of constructive criticism, running a coffee machine with multiple group heads and two steam wonds take advantage of that. Use the two girls on the coffee machine making expressos and steaming milk at the same time instead of talking and one person waiting for the other one to make a coffee before the next person makes one. If you're finished expressing your espresso start on the milk to catch up. You're out laying money on an employee that's not doing much.
