Latest addition to the flourishing food scene in Scoresby's @birdiecupeatery . It's in a housing🏡 estate, once a milk bar that transformed to modern chic cafe. They serve classic breakfast and all-day brunch menu

Featured: 🧇Louisiana waffle- Crispy fried chicken, pickled onion, fresh sliced chilli, asian herbs, chipotle mayo, fried egg, canadian maple and belgian waffle + maple glazed bacon👍🏻 🥖Smoked Salmon Bruschetta- Tasmanian smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, balsamic tomatoes, black olive caramel, dill, radish and seeds 🦑Calamari and Asian Slaw salad - Fried calamari, asian slaw, herbs, carrots, crushed peanuts, lime and sweet chilli lime vinaigrette 🐄Wagyu Beef Burger - 150gm wagyu beef, chedder cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, house sauce & seasoned fries👍🏻👍🏻

🍫Hot chocolate ☕️Birdie Coffee with cream foam on top💯

Everything tasted incredible, and the vibe is relaxing, charming and enjoyable to be in. This cafe is super spacious and family friendly. We chose the big window seat overlooking the streets. Staffs are friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable with quality good food.

If you are in the area, highly recommend you to check...

I ordered two takeaway coffees, waited a long time (over 15 mins) and then followed up to see where it was. The lady at the counter said it was coming soon.

My two coffees came out and were given to the wrong customers. The two customers walked out of the cafe and down the street. They opened the lid to smell the coffee (unsure if they had a taste) and realised that it wasn’t their coffee order.

The two customers then came back to the cafe and mentioned to the lady at the counter that it wasn’t their coffee order. It was in fact my order.

Lady at the counter then proceeded to give me the two coffees as is without re-making them. My wife then mentioned if she can make new coffees for us. Lady said nothing and immediately became angry, grabbed the coffees from us and aggressive threw them straight into the bin.

We got our remade coffees pretty quickly after that, however one of the coffees was dripping of coffee on the side as the lady rushed it.

To be fair the coffee was good, but service was absolutely horrible, rude and disrespectful. They also need more staff on board as I’ve never waited that long for a...

As all good secrets are usually hidden away, here's a lovely little cafe which the locals probably want to keep to themselves. A bright, fresh, and inviting little cafe with friendly service, and yummy food. We're continuing our quest to find the best breakfast and brunch spots around Melbourne, and Birdie Cup Eatery is up there with the best. Whilst I didn't see a 'big breakfast' option on the menu, we did try their breakfast burger which was top notch. The milk buns were buttery and soft, the eggs were cooked perfectly, along with crispy bacon, hashbrown, and a sweet tomato relish. Paired with a perfectly made coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, it was a pleasant breakfast for about $25 per person. The only downside was it can get a bit noisy inside (given how popular it is) with the polished concrete floors and brick walls reflecting the noise. But outside is always an option. A good tip is to get there early to...

I recently attended the coffee training course at Birdie Cup Eatery and it truly exceeded my expectations! The course was very practical — the instructor taught us step-by-step how to steam milk, create latte art (such as hearts and tulip patterns), and also covered how to make different types of coffee drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and long blacks. The teacher was very professional and patient, providing personalized guidance based on each student’s level. The atmosphere was relaxed but full of valuable information. This course is especially useful for anyone who wants to work in a café or improve their barista skills. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I learned so much. I highly recommend Birdie Cup Eatery to anyone who loves coffee, wants to enter the industry, or simply wants to enhance their coffee-making skills!
