If I could score Calibar a ZERO I would!! Seems like the change in management for Calibar also changed the quality of food and service. Firstly its way too overpriced and the food standard has dropped dramatically. Calarmai and salad over priced for such a small serve. Vegetarian pastry was literally all pastry. You serve roast with options of 1 or 2 sides or just a plate of meat! What a joke! We recall when it use to be roast day by the previous owners! That was a great Thursday lunch outing. It is fairly obviously a lot of customers no longer go there! Everyone heads to the other café Middleman. Calibar was once so busy with lots of collared worker heading to a café with the friendliest staff. The place is now quiet, staff with no manners and need hospitality skills. Food selection and availability so poor. Don’t see this place lasting very long! Going...

I celebrated my 30th birthday here at The Alibi and was extremely happy with the service I got from initially enquiry til the end of the party.

Spiro was really helpful from the beginning in regard to choosing the menu, how to setup the venue based on the number of guests and ultimately being present on the night made it much more comfortable to know everything was under control. Everything went smooth with no hiccups.

The space available is just amazing, we were able to have a photo-booth and DJ with ample of dance area left. The canapés served on the night were delicious and all the guests were full. The pork belly bites and calamari boats are a must!
