We had a Sunday lunch here to celebrate our anniversary. Overall it was a nice experience. The staff were all very attentive, kind and helped us with everything we needed. This really stood out for us so thank you :) The view from every table is gorgeous. The building and the grounds are very nice also. Food was very good but I felt there could have been a few more choices on the menu. I understand it's a hard time for the hospitality industry at the moment and maybe that's why the menu is quite small. The soup was amazing but the seafood pasta was over-spiced for me. Good portion sizes. Fresh food. Few kids meals and options for seniors. What really made the experience not so great for us was the live music. We sat as far away from the musician speakers as possible but found it hard to have a conversation during lunch. I was expecting a quiet time in the countryside but felt like a rowdy pub place. The musician was very very talented, well done to him, but if I had known about it beforehand, I probably wouldn't have come here. We left the noisy city hoping for some tranquility in the country but instead had upbeat music that was too loud. Maybe it's okay for others but it stirred us up, we just wanted to leave. Everything else was lovely, nice...
Read moreThis was a lunch booked for us as a gift from our two children ( now adults) Arrived to a lovely setting. We booked for1pm mmm seemed a popular time! As a queue to book in. We were shown to our reserved table on the terrace . Menu was on the table. However it was a good 45 mins later after another guest sought to see was there anyone to take our orders? Water was on the table thankfully. Some guests just ahead of us were seated inside and their service seemed prompt. We noticed they came out onto the terrace for a glass of wine later, as we just placed our order. To be fair the two ladies taking orders were VERY APOLOGETIC! So a lovey meal was enjoyed and yes we would return. That says it all. It was A LEISURELY LUNCH! The British lady was Charming & professional and very hospitable. An Asset to their Hospitality Team. Thank you Yvonne &...
Read moreSuch a beautiful place inside and out. Not only will the 360 degree view of the Yarra Valley take your breath away every time you visit, but the staff and food are just as amazing. My husband and I came back a year later to celebrate our anniversary after getting married here, it was a heart warm feeling being welcomed back by Sheila who was one of the workers who took care of us on our wedding day. It makes the experience of coming back a lot more personal. No doubt a lot of bride and grooms come and go, but she will acknowledge you personally. This place is beyond service, they go above to make sure your visit is a pleasant one. We left feeling full and very satisfied. Can’t wait to...
