Riverstone was the perfect setting for our wedding, wine, the country, that amazing view and incredible staff! Being a cocktail setting we were a little aprehensive as to how it would play out and what should be organised as we had not been to one before but from our first meeting the Riverstone Estate staff made sure nothing was too difficult and helped make sure the plans towards our perfect day were being completed right up until the hours before the day. The day went so quickly and everything seemed to go past in a blur but from the moment we arrived we were attended to by the amazing Taree and Karen to make sure we had refreshing drinks and food which continued through the afternoon and evening making sure we were fed as it was easy to forget to eat while enjoying the festivities and catching up with family and friends. Our guests had some obscure food requirements but that was no problem for Riverstone, they made sure everyone was catered for correctly and the feedback from our family and friends on the food and drinks has been fantastic, we just have to mention that our favourite food calamari was to die for and are thankful for the large plate presented to us by Taree during the night! Several families brought their kids who were also seen to with appropriate food and drinks and when saying goodbye we were very grateful to hear that they enjoyed their night also. We would like to also say a special thank you to Mary-anne and the whole Riverstone Team as the ceremony and reception were a prize from the Ideal Bridal Expo, winning this portion of our wedding means the world to us as without this amazing prize we would have only dreamed of such an amazing team and venue to celebrate our special day and are eternally grateful! Thank you again and again to everyone at Riverstone, waitresses, waiters, chefs and organisers, you all made for an incredible night that will be always looked back upon and remembered as such. We look forward to sneaking back for an anniversary wine next year! -Sylwia and...
Read moreAs soon as we saw Riverstone we fell in love - a truly magical venue and the people who make up the team are equally as special.
We cannot thank each and every one of you enough for making our wedding an absolute fairy tale, not just for the two of us, but our family and friends also. We all thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting, delicious food and the great service that you and your team provided.
When we've spoken to people about our utterly magical day it wasn't just the stunning location, the ambience, the weather; it was your particular attention to running the event smoothly, the delicious food, setting out the dining hall, displaying the dessert station in such an imaginative and talented manner, but also a general attitude and sense of happiness amongst all - including your staff. We received the glowing feedback from our guests and we couldn't be happier.
Nicola, Karen, Fiona thank you for your support in the lead up to our special day, your communication throughout the process was perfect.
Sheila - you are wonderful, and we were thrilled to have you with us and thank you for all of your support on our special day and your kind words.
Matt, we cannot thank you enough, you worked tirelessly throughout the day and it was wonderful to have such a lovely, positive and attentive person with us throughout the day - you are just amazing.
The food and wine was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Nothing pleases a crowd more than a well-designed dessert station and it was truly inviting and a lovely surprise. All of those tempting treats laid out for the taking – pure heaven for everyone who had a sweet tooth!
Thank you again for your outstanding efforts on Saturday as we celebrated our special day. It was a truly memorable weekend for all of...

Staff work hard but no individual service, bar service is excellent and all drinks were cold even though a 40 degree night.
Drank light beer and it was ice cold (not always the case), asked for gin and tonic but have to paid, no problems as this was the choice of the bride and groom, good serve of gin and was given a full bottle of tonic (Indian) water. Sparkling (dry), red, rose and white were all excellent. Craft beer, cider and normal beer were cold and interesting enough to keep the punter's looking to extend there knowledge
Our wedding had a shared central table and non specific tables around the edges. So this review does not include settled weddings, but it would be a very small 30-40 total guest's including bridal.
Wait staff walk around with food platters. All platters were great but the chicken drumettes which needed another 10-15 minutes, seasoning fell of and slightly undercooked.
Other platter's were great, interesting oysters but fresh and flavourful.
Not sure if they did the tiny deserts but they were brilliant, tiny raspberry cups, mini crème boulle and an amazing sugar and cream mini donut.
The main serving area is roughly 9 X 16 meters and has one air-conditioning unit.
If they enclosed the walkway to the toilets and added a few Aircon's the location would improve. A few market umbrellas in the wedding area would have been expected An industrial fan or 4 should be on the outside deck, If you are going to offer Gordon's gin might I recommend Mediterranean tonic water , same price but less bitter. Solid 3 of 5 but it was 40...
