Extremely unprofessional service and rude staff. I was buying "just" one donut and they were clearly irritated with my miserly purchase. First attendant just walked away from the serving desk when I approached. When I tried to get her attention, the one making coffee tersely said that "she's just getting something". They weren't speaking English after that point, but when I was finally "served", 4 or 5 stacks of coffee cups were thrown on the desk in my direction and EFTPOS machine was flung over to me, all the while they were making loud, irritated remarks in my direction, pointing at me and at my donut, which I could not understand. As I left the store I they gave me looks as if I hurt their pets or did something terrible to them. I was the only customer in the store at the moment. It's a real pity as their coffee is good and all other items are really good and always fresh, however staff make it very difficult time for customers. Very unpleasant experience. This is my local bakery that I stop in to pick up my coffee and breakfast every few days. I feel that I’ve been tolerant enough with their cost cutting but enough is enough and it’s unfortunate that they don’t have the customer service to make up for it. It started with shoving 6 donuts into a box made for 4. It matters when it’s a gift. Despite asking for the bigger box so that its presentable I still got thrown the small box with the squished donuts. Now they wouldn’t give me a plastic bag with a handle to carry my goods in, despite putting each individual item in its own plastic bag and box their excuse was they’re no longer using plastic bags. Customer service was shocking! The chairs were stacked up and dirty The babychino's were piping hot (try telling 2 toddlers that the drink they had to wait 5+mins for was too hot to touch) the babychinos were brought out in take away cups no plate or spoon to scoop the foam and marshmallows with, when I went to get a spoon there were only stiring sticks on the bench. Now to my hot chocolate. They either used some sort of soy milk or the milk was off as it tasted funny and my stomach feels unsettled since. Save your money and go to any other cafe in this...
