Cafe 59 on Church — Restaurant in Melbourne

CHANGED MY REVIEW BECAUSE, TWO OR THREE WEEKS AGO (APRIL 2019) I STOPPED TO HAVE BREAKFAST and 1) Had to clear off my own table, 2) MOST IMPORTANTLY, was served ONE OF THE WORST MEALS I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME: the pancacke was awful-tasting and even the scrambled eggs were bad. Drag, cause, as you can see from my comments below, this place USED to be pretty darn good. Haven't tried their lunch menu yet, but me & my four-footed buddy Herman have had CHEEK-TIGHTENING (from all the enthusiastic chewing), BELLY-FILLING, MOUTH-WATERING morning meals: pancakes with syrup & or whipcream, covered with fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, melons and orange slices); scrambled eggs perfectly cooked, with the right hint of butter in the mix; bacon (sometimes) cooked just right; and, of course, the national dish of Australia, toast, buttered just right, brown and crunchy...

Note, I not left 5 star reviews, because they are usually paid for or done by influencers!

Besides, this amazing little retro Cafe deserves 10 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My most favourite place to visit and have breakfast or brunch with my family and friends. They cook the best range free pouched eggs. The best savoury baked potatoes and the best coffee and milk shakes, everything on the menu is classic.
