Cafe Oliveto — Restaurant in Melbourne

Been going to cafe oliveto for many many years and it’s aaaalways been my family’s good old reliable and it still is to this day! Not to mention anytime we have guests over and we order pizza we always get cafe oliveto and our guests say it’s the best pizza they’ve had! Same incredible quality for the many years we have been ordering from them and never ever disappoints! Their bolognese sauce is so beautiful and so authentic it’s my favourite from absolutely any restaurant or takeaway place! Almost as good as my nonnas 😂 and their Parma is one of my favourite parmas ever!! their schnitzel is incredibly crispy, tasty and juicy with delicious sauce and cheese. and their chips are to die for!! Seriously. Always hot and fresh, crispy and seasoned to perfection, my whole family and I always fight over them. And the pizzas have always been of the same amazing quality! And their website is so so incredibly easy to order from it is a godsend!! And the prices are so good! And the loyalty discounts are just amazing. I’ll never have one bad thing to say about you guys! I ordered from here on Friday the 7/5/2021 And it was the worst service I’ve ever received!! I ordered 4 pizzas at 6:16pm and was asked if I wanted to pick up or delivered I told the girl on the phone delivery please that way I could get 3 kids bathed and ready for dinner and was told 45mins to 1hour I said okay that’s fine. 7:30pm came and no pizzas I called and told the girl on the phone that I haven’t received my pizzas she told me that she doesn’t control what time the delivery drives drop them off and then when I asked her if she could see if someone else could tell me she told me oh wait they are still cooking and that they will be done in 5mins!! Then when I said to her what happened to 45mins to an hour for delivery she just kept saying I don’t know!! Then I give them until 7:45 still no pizzas so I called up again and was just told that they don’t know why it hasn’t being delivered yet and just kept being put on hold then was told that no one could help me because there is no manager in When we finally got the pizzas at 8pm they where cold and didn’t taste nice so I will never order from this...

I've been ordering from there for a while and I keep persisting with them....they keep giving me reasons go go elsewhere. It's either an issue with quality, incorrect ordering. Excessive Delivery time (like over an hour) or price. The last straw was my order on Saturday. I rang and ordered 10 large pizzas 4 garlic breads. I was told each pizza was 9.90 and each garlic bread was 3.50. ($113) so i added another large which brought the total to 123+Delivery) I was given total of 137.50..... and I'm like whatever I just would like the pizzas by 8pm. (I made the call at 5.50) When the driver arrived he says 143.50. I gave him 137.50 and sent him on his way. It's not the money.....It's the fact that every order I have place with them in the last 6 months (there's been several) has been stuffed up one way or another. No more will I order from these people. Never!
