We recently had dinner at Club Italia Sporting Club and had a great time. The restaurant has a cozy and stylish atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The service was top-notch—friendly, fast, and attentive. The staff really cared about making sure we had a good experience and gave us great recommendations from the menu.
We had the Caesar salad, chicken parmigiana, bread and dip, and coffee. The Caesar salad was crisp and fresh, with a creamy dressing and just the right amount of Parmesan cheese and croutons. The chicken parmigiana was perfectly cooked, with a crispy breaded exterior and tender chicken inside, topped with a rich tomato sauce and melted cheese. The bread and dip were a tasty start to the meal; the bread was warm and soft, and the dip was full of flavor. The coffee was a great finish to our dinner—rich, smooth, and served piping hot.
What makes Club Italia Sporting Club special is the attention to detail in everything they do. From the beautiful presentation of the dishes to the carefully chosen ingredients, you can tell they put a lot of love into their food.
We highly recommend Club Italia Sporting Club for a fantastic dining experience. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a nice night out, this place won’t disappoint. We can’t wait to go back and try more...
Read moreWe had a function here and the food was nice, place was lovely however the service was very poor.
The function manager was not very friendly and always hard to get in touch with.
One of the staff members in our room was also very argumentative and rude, the function was only staffed by one bartender and plates mounted up on peoples tables, we could not find anyone and i had to go looking in the bistro for service.
Did not see the function manager all night except once (briefly), she didn't even ask how everything was going and i couldn't find her during the night to ask questions.
When we asked for service we were told that 'we have 300 people next door we need to service'. So our 100 people were obviously not as important.
They would not cut the cake as i did not specifically ask for it at the time of booking even though i said i was bringing one (it was not offered). I was not allowed to cut it at the bar either. And was told we could sit down and discuss this after the function if i wanted to...
They didn't bring out our gluten free plate either (which i did ask for ironically...)
Could not give me a bill at the end of the night so we had to hang around and wait for them to figure it out.
All in all, disappointed. Would not...
Read moreWe came here last month to see the wog show ‘Straight outta compo’ and although was a really funny show we found this place not very accommodating, was way too crowded, tried to fit too many people in such a small space, you can’t see the people on stage as not appropriate seating and it’s like ur sitting on top of others..seems it was all about making money by fitting as many people as possible instead of making it with less people and more comfortable!!
In my opinion it looks run down, the car park has pot holes everywhere and customer service is atrocious, from calling and booking the tickets the guy was very rude (think he was the owner) and then the ladies checking our tickets on the night were very rude like their job was soo hard! Can’t believe people actually choose to have their wedding...
