We are thrilled to have found this fantastic corner takeaway. SO CLEAN and the oil is perfectly clean too and we know this because the fish and chips are the colour they should be when fried. Con & Sophie (owners) are super hard workers and we commend them for still being in business with the world how it is these days. This shows they have loyal customers and loyal customers means good quality food, service and value for money. This store sells just about everything from sandwiches, souvalki, burgers, milkshakes, drinks, coffee, and of course fish and chips. I came for the latter and chose blue grenader as the fish and minimum serve of chips. Friendly couple behind the counter. I requested chicken salt for the chips. Once served the chips are delicious, perfectly cooked, lightly crunchy, perfectly seasoned, fluffy on the inside and delicious. The blue grenader is well cooked surrounded by a light crunchy batter. Came here a while ago maybe 6 weeks ago. Had some fish and chips with potato cakes.

Exactly what I needed. I remember the fish being fresh and the potato cakes have that crisp, light batter with fluffy potato inside. Couldn't complain. It's exactly the 'take-away' meal I was after. No bells and whistles. No inflated prices.

And the staff look as tho they've been employed their for a while.... a 'family business' vibe.
