I just moved to Watsonia and the Diary Bell in Cheltenham has been closed for ages So i haven't been to one in 20 years... Wow! Get on board people... This ice cream is delicious, soft and they have modern flavours. Try the Caramilk for sure... Huge range and much much better than supermarket ice cream. The staff member serving me was very friendly. Plus they sre open until 12 so perfect for any late night cravings or movie night runs fyi they also have choctops and those European boxed ice creams every Lygon st restaurant used to serve in the 90s. Good ice cream. But do not order a cake from here. Once we ordered a cake and they made the cake but then literally threw a birthday sign on it. This was for my gluten free brothers 8th birthday and he was so excited because there was meant to be icing and frosting and cool decoration but he was so disappointed when he saw what the cake actually was to the point he cried. Luckily we had the ingredients to make a home made cake with our own icing and decor. It looked better, tasted better and was just more appetising. I wish I could rate this a zero star because that is what it is.

OMG I have been going here for 2 decades because of the quality and my support for this iconic aussie brand. But.....now the place is....even more awesome! It now looks like the icecream places in lygon street. I would rather support local than try get a car park in Carlton and the frustrated drive. Has had a great face lift and great outdoor seating. They also still sell tubs of 2 and 4 litre icecream. It still tastes like your childhood vanilla. Do it and you can never go back to supper market stuff. Staff super friendly friendly. Stop reading this, you could be eating icecream...
